The Last Day....

...... of the 2013-2014 is today!! I am so excited for tomorrow but want to stress that if you still have things you like from the Retiring List please please please contact me today to order them. I have an order waiting to go in this evening at 7pm. A couple of my customers have now realised that they cannot live without the Morning Post Alphabet shown on the card I made my little friend Hannah. It's available at only £20.37 in clear mount.
If you are local to me and would like to order it then there is no postage, just drop me a line. If you are further afield and would like to order it on my Online Store please use Hostess Code FHF4QHK7 as you check out.
It's been one of my most popular sellers this year as many of my customers have re-created cards like this one!
Until the big day tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Hannah

Hello there! It's the start of another week and the sun is shining where we live! It makes such a difference to people's moods I find! Today I shall mostly be getting creative with the brand new products that arrived last week, making samples for my launch night and designing cards for my July parties.

A couple of weeks ago my sweet little friend Hannah in Australia celebrated her 11th birthday. I sent her a little pressie and card in the post but I think it still hasn't arrived, as it hadn't when I checked with her Mum a couple of days ago! :( Hope it gets there soon and also hope Hannah doesn't check out my blog!
I decided to make Hannah a Scallop Tag Topper Concertina Card, check out my You Tube video on how to make this HERE. This project is perfect for using the Morning Post alphabet stamp set. A number of ladies purchased this set after seeing this project when I demonstrated it during Sale-A-Bration. At the moment it has 40% off and is only £20.67, you can find it in my Online Store HERE - While Stocks Last
When we were on the cruise I am sure Hannah told me her fave colour was blue so I incorporated Island Indigo into this card quite a lot as well as some Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. The flowers are punched out with the Petite Petals punch which will be carrying over into the new catalogue, HOWEVER if you want to take advantage of the cheaper bundle price and save 15% when you buy both the stamps and punch then you need to get them before the end of this month. The papers are also leaving us too and they are only £5.97 on the Retirement List, again while stocks last, you can find them HERE

I love making these cards, they are extra special and once you have done one they are very easy to do. I hope it gets there very safely soon!!!
I am on my way to the craft den now to have play with  work on the new products!!

Paper Have Day Retreat - Morning Project

Good morning! Again this is another scheduled post as I am hoping when you read this that I will be enjoying a well deserved lie in, partly for Mother's Day and partly from the exhaustion of running yesterdays event! I will be back with all the low down on the event tomorrow, once I have got my energy back and caught up on my laundry!
This was the project we made in the morning. The girls got 1/2 a pack of the Watercolour Wonder paper and 1/2 a pack of the Watercolour Wonder Note cards. Ever since Stampin' Up! brought out these new style wood mount boxes I have been wanting to go a stationery gift set so this was the perfect opportunity.
Inside I created a belly band of matching DSP for the envelopes and added a loop for the pen. I then created a box with the Envelope Punch Board and cut one side off to leave it open and decorated it with a monogram.
The cards inside are all kept pretty simple as they already have some lovely designs on them
Back tomorrow with all the goss from the day!
