Anniversary card

Morning all!
I have been playing around with ideas for an anniversary card for my hubby Robin as we have been married 14 years next Tuesday!!! EEEKkkkkkk!!!!
I wanted to make something a bit more masculine and also something my ladies could make at our LURVE class near the end of the month.
I went for an easel card using the colours Taken With Teal (retiring), Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede. Also wanted to use some of the spotty Soft Suede ribbon which unfortunately will also be going at the end of September!
The birds were stamped first onto the white card and then onto some patterned paper from the Sweet Pea pad and cut and layered on top. I used the linen thread (so useful) and added some of the Tiny Tags to it also a lot of paper pricking too!

The Happy ANniversay sentiment is from Cheers and Wishes.
RIght thats it for me today, got a day of wedding stuff in between sorting the boys out and housework!!!

A lovely week of classes

Apologies for the higgeldy piggeldyness of todays post, Blogger was being a bit naughty this morning!

Yeah its Friday!!! Yipppee!!

I have had a really lovely week so far this week!! Managed to get quite a bit of wedding work done aswell!

On Tuesday night I had 8 lovely ladies attend my Love You Much class, see pic below which is my room all prepped and ready!!! We had a laugh as usual aswell as making our projects. At the moment the Tuesday night classes are FULL, but sometimes the odd place may be spare, I will update my calendar if this is the case.

OK so this is my new layout for 8 people at my classes, its very cosy but we managed!

At the moment on a Thursday I just had 3 lovely ladies attend! One of them is brand new to crafting - MY MUM!!!!

Never thought she would like it but she has really enjoyed it!

Here she is with her dimensionals!! She keeps getting mixed up with the names of everything and called them Directionals!!

My Mum didnt want to do hearts on the box so instead she used the flowers from Simply Said and made it into a gift box for my Aunty for her birthday! Here are all my Mums projects!

Whilst the ladies were bust making I managed to experiment with a card and I did the mini pocket card but this time I embossed in white onto the Real Red card, I love the brightness of the white!

Yesterday I had a huge Stampin Up order delivered which was for one of my Stampers 10 clubs!!!! Luckily most of the girls live close by so they come and collect but I though you might like to see the huge pile of products I get to sort through!!!

Right its supermarket shop this morning!!!

See you tomorrow

Anniversary birds!

On Sunday its my Mum and Dads anniversary, they will have been married for 37 years! I thought I would plan ahead and make their card, then yesterday my Dad sneakily asked me if I would make a card for Mum from him so I have another to do now!!
Stamp set used is of course Love you Much and a colour combo of Real Red and White with Kraft cardstock
I have paper pieced the birds using the jackpot papers (seen lots of demos do this and thought it looked fab) and then added some Real Red striped grosgrain and lots of hearts using the matching Heart to Heart punch

Went a bit mad with the hearts!!!

Arty farty angle!!!!

Right must dash, need to get boys dressed for school and I need to get ready.

Back tomorrow

Jules

P.S If you are in the LEEDS area I have 4 places left on my Flight of the Butterfly class on Saturday afternoon. See the calendar on my sidebar for more info

Love you much and card class

What a start to the day! My hubby has fallen down the stairs leading from our back door this morning , he has hurt his back and arm but seems OK. The roads are black ice and he set of in the car and turned back round and has now decided to walk to train station! Bit worried about him even walking there, it is so bad!
Luckily the weather seemed to stay clear last night for my Pocket Silhouettes class, first one in the conservatoire! I want to thank the ladies for all turning up in view of the weather and I hope you all enjoyed yourself!!
I set everything up early in the afternoon and took these photos, not got all my card samples out at this point
Another angle!! The class layout went OK but I am thinking of changing the tables and moving them around a bit! Will see now it goes!

Here is the next class that they all booked in for! LOve YOu Much! The large milk carton was from a tutorial that my lovely (and newly promoted!) Sarah-Jane did on her blog! Thanks for letting me use it SJ!

Here it is in more detail! I have embossed the large heart using whisper white kraft ink and then white embossing powder.

A little love note criss cross mini card we will also be making!

And finally a card you could send to a friend or loved one. Lots of heat embossing. I got the idea of all the hearts from a card I saw on Splitcoast Stampers

They look really lovely all embossed

RIght thats it for me, off to make the boys their porridge!
Thank you all for your lovely comments about my blog, I really appreciate you taking the time to leave them!

Love you much!

Oooopps so sorry for not posting yesterday! Had such a busy day prepping for my class today, cutting 8 card blanks for 22 ladies takes a long time!

Will show photos later on!!!

Today one of my lovely downline Terri, is celebrating her 18th Wedding Anniversary! Her very thoughtful Hubby contacted me to make her a card from him! No pressure there then! I decided to use the Love you much set which I was very lucky to win at Convention on the Prize Patrol

Ok so here is the card, I have used the Bridesmaid sepciality papers again this time with Pretty in Pink card and ink.

Lots of glittering on this card too

And some of my beloved flat back pearls! Inside the card it said Happy Anniversary. I have been on Terri's blog this morning so I know it safe to post and that she likes the card! Have a lovely day Terri and Robert!

Right I must go and get ready for my class, its my biggest one, 22 attending today. My gorgeous Husband has baked 2 cakes last night and he is also coming to serve teas and coffees, what a love he is!
Will be back with photos later or tomorrow
