Happy Hour with In Colours

Good Morning! Another scorcher looks like it's on the cards today! I missed doing my blog yesterday as I was so busy with preps for my Launch Night tonight and my Team Training tomorrow! Having a few days off for my birthday last week has taken its toll but I think I am back on track now - and it was worth it!

Here are a couple of cards I made over 2 weeks ago for my new next door neighbour, who was turning 40 and then one for my Niece, Amanda. I used 2 of the new In Colours, Strawberry Slush and Coastal Cabana and added a bit of Basic Black for an evening/cocktailey feel!

I glittered the cocktails to make them extra special!

The papers are from the Modern Medley set, Very Vanilla and Basic Black - really classy papers.

Inside the card got a little bit of treatment too!

And here is the Coastal Cabana version

Hope you like these, I am off to do last minute preps for tonight/tomorrow!

Happy Hour - last orders at the bar!

Hey there! Sorry for the delay this morning, we seemed really rushed today before we went dancing so I have had to wait until I came back!

Here is the last of the Happy Hour cards we made this week and it uses 2 new colours, Pistachio Pudding and Strawberry Slush - don't they sound yummy!!!!

I teamed them with some Basic Grey ribbon and we sneaked a Copacabana Coastal Cabana straw in there!!! We made slit in the top of the drink to push the straw through (a little tip I got from a swap by my lovely downline Karyn! Thanks Karyn)

We were all glittered out so we left the glitter off this card!

And here are all 3 of them together!

Hope you enjoyed this summery cocktail set!

More Happy Hours!

Good Morning!! I have failed this morning!! We have walked all the way Monday - Thursday but today mu hubby is off work and Evan wants him to walk with him! I could have gone with them but thought I would make the most of my time and get my blog done!

Here is another card we made on Tuesday night with the Happy Hour set and some of the new colours!

We have used Calypso Coral card and paper along with Copacabana  Coastal Cabana card for the mat and  the scallop border. We also used another new colour, the darker colour used around the sentiment which is called Bermuda Bay!!

The cocktails were stamped in Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana and the sentiment and bits and bobs on the cocktail in Bermuda Bay! I have to say I am LOVING these new colours already!

Right thats it from me for today! Wishing you all a happy Friday and I will share the last card with you tomorrow!

Happy Hour!

Hello! On Tuesday night I held our Tuesday Club and this time we made cocktails!! Not literally of course but with the fab Happy Hour stamp set!

I also let the girls have a little sneak peek into some of the new colours that are coming our way whilst using the For my Family stamp set for the last time in class (cry!). I love this set and will really miss it! I saw a card just like this on Pinterest and had to case it!

So the card is Pool Party but I have stamped the cocktail and the Friend sentiment in a new colour - Coastal Cabana. And yes I want to call it Copacabana and haven't stopped singing that song since I used it!! Little fact for you though - I had a look on the packaging for the cardstock and in France their card colour is actually called Copacabana!!!!

Coastal Cabana is like a darker Pool Party - I love it already and think it could be a new fave!!!!! I have also sneaked another new colour on there - can you see it?? Yes its the pinky colour and its called Strawberry Slush!!! Think Strawberry Split ice lollies!!!!

We used the Sizzlits doily from the set of 3 and I added some Dazzling Diamonds to the cocktail to give it a little shimmer!!!

Hope you like!

Christmas Cheer Stamp a Stacker!!!

Good morning! It's another Monday morning that has come around so quickly again!!! I am busy busy today and tomorrow planning and prepping for my team Christmas party tomorrow evening!!! Yesterday and Saturday my son, Evan and I had our Ballroom and Latin dance exams. These were spend out over 2 days and we had 6 dances to do each! They seemed to go well and I was so proud of Evan and his beautiful Waltz and Foxtrot! We don't get the results for a while unfortunately!

On Friday I held my last Stamp a Stack for 2012 and here is one of the cards using a new stamp set - Happy Hour!! Can you remember the set Cheers to You? It was the first set I ever bought when I attended my friend Anna's party back in March 2008!!!! This is like its new relative following its retirement!!!!

We used Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake. The star from Jolly Bingo Bits was stamped in Versamark all over the Crumb Cake background and then we inked around the edges with the Whisper White Craft inkpad.

The stamp was coloured in with the marker pens in Chocolate Chip, Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler. This set comes with all sorts of little extras to trim your drinks up with!!! Some Whisper White Bakers Twine was added at the bottom to trim it up and some Rhinestones at the top!

Want the All-New Stampin Trimmer for Christmas?? I cannot wait for mine to arrive. If you would like to get your hands on one please message me and I can add to one of my December orders!!!

I'll see you tomorrow!
