Tuesday Club projects

Hello there. It's wild out there this morning. I have just done the school run and got wet through and blown about - feel like I had a free spa treatment!!!!!!

Todays projects are hot of the press from last nights card club. They were designed to be a Mothers Day card and gift but I have made mine more generic for any occasion!

Both the projects use the fantastic Everyday Enchantment papers which you can earn FREE with a spend of £45 from any of our catalogues.

The technique I showed the girls last night was how to make the spiral flowers. I first fell in love with these on my fabbo downline Sarah-Jane's blog. This is the card, a patchwork style card with fake (or faux if you are posh!) stitching to make it look more authentic!

The frame was embossed in Mr Big Shot and then we tore around the edge and then added all the flowers that were made at the beginning of the class. Its best to do the flowers first and then let them dry under something heavy like a punch. The square punch was the largest square punch we do and you can just fit 4 across nicely on a 14.8cm square card blank.

Inside got a bit of treatment too using the Fresh Vintage stamp set

We then made a giant gift bag!! I say giant, its not that big really but its much bigger than the one we made at our training. Its made from a sheet of 12x12 paper and I got the tutorial here The lady doing it really makes me laugh, she is so cute!!! She makes it from a sheet of 6x6 so all you need to do is double the measurements that she gives you.

I love this paper so much, and there are only 5 weeks left to get your hands on it!!! I will be getting some more of it, thats for sure!!!

The bag comes out a really good size, its 7 inches wide and approx 5 inches tall!. You could get lots of different items in it! We made a little tag to hang of the handle and added some more spiral flowers to it. Some of the ladies made the bags with different sentiments and even initials for a personalised gift.

And here is a photo of the 6x6 one and the 12x12 one next to each other!! Look what a lovely sunny day we had yesterday in the conservatoire! I am missing it alot by the way!!

Hope you enjoyed my projects

Jules x
