A Jolly Old Day with the Jems!

PHEW - I am just about recovered from the most fantastic day yesterday!! It was spent with some of my lovely team plus a couple of ladies from other teams at our All Day Training Event.

We spent lots of time with a new kid on the block - Mr Big Shot!! And the ladies who don't own one certainly added him to the TOP of their shopping lists!!

I was very lucky that my good friend Sarah B helped me out by stepping in to do the Big Shot Inspiration Station! She has had a rubbish week as she had been poorly and then had OFSTED in at school, but still came along and demoed Mr Big!!! Thank you Sarah! x

Here are a couple of projects she made for the display, gorgeous easel card with the scallop circle and the daisies die (which wasnt on my wish list but is now). I love these pillow boxes piled on top of each other - gorgeous gift idea!

Here is Sarah busy getting ready before the girls arrived!

I also had my lovely Anthea on hand! Who had come down from Glasgow the night before and she was demoing chipboard for us! Anthea is a very talented scrapbooker and had some beautiful samples for us! I wont show them all as I am sure she will be sharing on her blog but I love this scrapbook page with the Trendy Tree stamp set and the trees chipboard!

Anthea has a commission to make a scrapbook album for a gift, how wonderful would it be to receive this, just beautiful!

So in the morning, we did business talks and also some scrapbooking. All the girls made a 12x12 page -some for the very first time!! I always provide a buffet lunch and a cupcake at my trainings and the girls laugh how I like things to match! Just look at my "Springtime Vintage" napkins!!

My friend Mel did us proud again with the buffet and the cupcakes! I told her I would like "Vintagey" cupcakes with butterflies and these are the beauties!!!

Love how she has trimmed some of them up!!

Right I will show you some piccies of the girls and their work - sorry I havent got photos of everyones!! Here is Chris hard at work - look at the concentration!!! Lovely to see you Chris after your op!
Here is Shazza also hard at work - Shazza loves her scrapbooking

Shazza's work in progress

I think this one is Sharon's work in progress

Look at Victoria's, love how she has done the stamping onto the letters

This was the lovely Ciara's page, she has never scrapped before and I think she did a fab job
This is Karyn's page, the flowers had real dimension which you cannot tell from this photo

And this is Allie's layout, her daughter is called Daisy.

In the afternoon we made a Baggie Book with 5 cards using the Big Shot. I will be back tomorrow to show you the projects!

We had 2 birthdays in the last week, Karyn and Victoria. So I asked my friend to make 2 extra special cupcakes to surprise them!! We all sang and we even had sparklers on them!!

Was very funny with Gem trying to get them both lit at the same time!!

Hope you enjoyed the photos and if you want to join us next time just get in touch!
