First Birthday Cupcake Card

A friend asked me to make a 1st Birthday Card for me last week. AND SHE SAID IT HAD TO B CUPCAKE THEMED!!!!!!!!!!!
How fab!!!

These Alota images are perfect for toddler birthday cards, this is the last one I have left from the stash that Vicki sent me! I have coloured her in with my copics and used some Papermania background paper as I wanted there to be loads of cupcakes!!!

The Number 1 is from the Schoolbook Serif Alphabet which I must use week in week out and the sentiment is from the Crazy for Cupcakes set which I have (yet again) layered onto my Oval punches!!!

I have made the cupcake with the tutorial which you can see here

And I did a little decoration inside the card too!!!!
Today was also a very proud day for me! My eldest boy has recently joined a Marching Band and he plays the drum! They made their debut today performing a little showpiece at a Band Competition!!! They did it stationary as they havent learnt the marching side if it yet but here he is on the left on his bass drum!
And this is what his brother thought of the performance!

Back tomorrow with my Stamp with Us DT card!
