My Digital Studio for weddings

Hello there! Firstly thank you for all your lovely blog comments, emails and messages on my million milestone yesterday! Can't wait for the next million!!!

Those of you who have been with me a long time will know that I used to run a wedding stationery business until my Stampin Up business became really successful that I decided to work on it full time! Whilst I mostly enjoyed doing the weddings I did find them to be time consuming and sometimes stressful so when I had the opportunity to do Stampin Up full time I grabbed it! I do still love a good wedding and indeed good wedding stationery and I am delighted with the Always and Forever suite on My Digital Studio. MDS is only £13.95 for the main software and then you can simply buy any add ons that you fancy.
All the samples below are made with the Always and Forever invitation download and the product suite which I think are just lovely and so easy to use.
I simply changed all the images to Blackberry Bliss and then printed it out and backed it onto Blackberry Bliss card and voila, you have a lovely invitation.
I decided to add some ribbon round this one and thought it would look really cute with the RSVP tucked under the ribbon too!
Hope you agree these look really professional and can be done quickly and easily! For more information please contact me.

My week (part 1)

Hello there! Are you still following me? I have been a naughty blogger and been a little absent these past few days! With my classes finishing on the 10th it has been catch up for me including School Performance viewing, making my personal Christmas cards, having my hair done, present purchasing and wrapping and catching up on housework before the big day! And thats before I mention going out on a couple of Christmas do's and out dancing with my fabulous Paulo twice this past week!

I thought I would share with you what I have been up to craft wise this week!

On Monday I had a bit of a My Digital Studio session as I offered to help my sister with some Birth Announcement/Thank You cards for Mollie Grace. I am honoured to say both the photos used (there is one on the back) are ones that Auntie Julie took! I used the Announcing Baby Girl postcard template from my Online Store - link HERE which is only £3.50 and then I added the banner across the top and changed the colour and just added a flower with a pearl in the centre! It really was very easy to do. The photo was taken on my Iphone and I recoloured it to sepia in My Digital Studio at the click of a button - simples!
The little postcards fit perfectly into out smaller Crumb Cake envelopes. My sister and her husband are very impressed with these, I just need to make 30 of them this afternoon now!
And talking of the little lady! I was in charge of her for a whole hour on Tuesday as her Mummy and Daddy went to watch her brother in his school play. It was bliss! We had lots of cuddles - I think she likes Auntie Julie.
Just look at her asleep on my shoulder here!!
On Monday I also made a start on my personal and customer Christmas cards again using My Digital Studio but I created a hybrid card. A hybrid card is when its part MDS and then also has some "real" products on too!!! I totally CASED this wonderful card I received as a swap at Convention from the talented Trevor Poole. Both Trevor and his Mum Irene are just the loveliest people - thank you Trevor for allowing me to case your card.
I did feel like I was still crafting - even though most of the elements were done in MDS and I think my customers have enjoyed seeing the results judging by the texts and messages I have received.

So I think you can say it was a My Digital Studio MONDAY for me this week

Birthday Invitations!

Good Morning and Happy Monday to you!!
Back to some traditional crafting today! I suddenly realised that I hadn't shared my 40th birthday invitations with you!!! My colour theme was Navy and Silver so I made the invitations myself with Stampin Up products of course!

I handmade the wallets from a sheet of A4 Night of Navy card and I also used the Brushed Silver cardstock aswell as a little Silver Glimmer card on the butterflies!

Making these reminded my why I stopped doing the wedding invitations!

Here are a few of them together!

I also thought I would share an MDS page that literally took me 3 minutes to do! There are some Designer Templates on the software and all you have to do is add your photo and some text so this is what I did here!!

I think it took me 2 of the 3 minutes to decided what to write!!!

Thanks for looking!

All about me

Hey there! Thank you for your anniversary wishes yesterday, we had a lovely day!

A few weeks ago I signed up to an Online MDS class run by 2 experts Heather Summers and Kimberley Van Diepen. They gave very good video tutorials and this page is a total CASE of one of Heathers pages. You may recognise the papers as they are the Epic Day ones from the This and That range, they are just the digital version!

I thought it would be fun to document me at 39! So I added 2 of my favourite photos and then my Top Ten!! There are lots of elements to this layout compared to the previous 2 I have shown you and I cannot wait to share this with my customers!

Hope you like my page!
Bye for now!

Anniversary!

Hey there! Today is a special day for me and Robino as it is our 17th Wedding Anniversary!! WOW! That seems like such a long time and means it is also 22 years since the anniversary of our first date as we got married on the exact same date, 5 years later!! Awwwww!

Here we are a couple of weeks ago on Bamburgh beach on our jollies!!!

I don't yet have an MDS page of our wedding day so thought I would share a page of myself and my "dancing husband" Paul!!! He is such a lovely guy and I think the world of him and Robin and the boys think a great deal of him too!

This was a quick page and I used photos of the Blackpool Finals from last year. I'm really enjoying getting all my photos documented!

See you tomorrow!

My Digital Studio!

I am so excited as My Digital Studio is coming really soon!!!! I have been lucky enough to have had the software for some time and I have really enjoyed playing around with it and discovering how useful it will be!

At first I wrongly thought maybe it is just for Scrapbooking, but there are so so many uses for it! For me it will help me to document all my photos and get my family scrapbook pages sorted out.

I thought I would share some of my projects with you over the next few days!!!

This is my first layout I did, which is of course of Evan's dancing. I will be telling all the dancing Mums that they "need" to have this product to help them document their children's dance successes!!!

I have found the software very easy to use and I am looking forward to sharing this with my customers when it is live!

I will be back tomorrow with another layout for you!
