Hopeful Thoughts

Last week I did a workshop for a lovely group of ladies who I knew had their eye on the Hopeful Thoughts set. These are a couple of really simple cards I made to give them a couple of ideas on how to use the set
This first card is cased from a card on Page 73 of the catalogue. I have used my marker pens to colour the branches and the flowers.
The colour combo is Bravo Burgundy (flowers), Baja Breeze, Early Espresso and Old Olive. Very simple but effective I think. I added some gorgeous pearls to the flowers for a little extra detail.

Here is another little card in Very Vanilla and Old Olive, very monotone. You can tell I was rushing on this one as I have overstamped the image hence the mark on my card - we all make mistakes - even us demonstrators!!!!

The corners are done using the Scallop Corner punch, handy little item for adding some extra detail.

And a flat bow to finish it off!!
Right I must dash. I have Lucas all day, my tutorial to finish, swaps to finish for convention and allsorts!!!
