Card making session!

Hello there!

I am feeling sorry for myself this morning as I seem to have developed a nasty cold in last 24 hours! Better to have it this week than next when I have my All Day class (2 places left by the way - 13th February)

We were supposed to have rehearsal last night but it got cancelled, I was so happy as I didnt want to drive there in the snow and it meant I could catch up with some stamping!
I decided to be a good girl and do my Jems Colour Challenge while I got the chance! Sarah P set us the task of using the following colours
Blush Blossom
Rose Red
Bravo Burgundy
Old Olive!
Quite hard I thought, until I got my Greenhouse Garden set out! Had to make a card for my Mum from the boys so decided I would combine the 2!
I made a trifold card from one piece of A4 which was Rose Red. The wording was stamped with the Just Perfect Alphabet and the Birthday Wishes is from Sincere Salutations. I added one of my usual flat bows in Bravo Burgundy

The two outer panels were Blush Blossom which I stamped all over with the flower in Blush Blossom and then Rose Red and added some extra flowers which I cut out and layered on with dimensionals.

You can just see the stamped Blush Blossom flowers on this picture.

Since first posting this my cold is getting worse, I cannot stop wiping my nose!! Arrrgghhh I hate being poorly!!!

See you tomorrow!

  7. Hi Julie
    amazing cards as always!!

Wondered if you'd mind sharing how you got a trifold card from one piece if A4 that was large enough to stamp gandma across it!! Did you cut it in half and hinge an additional piece on one end?? Been playing but not sure I've got it!!
Am working my way through your pockets class too... Very clear instructions thanks!!
