Krafty Christmas Day 1 and a funny photo!

I got a lovely delivery today of new Stampin Up stash just for me (well stuff for my card class on 21st too) and the first thing I opened was the Medallion stamp! When I first saw this it did not grab me but having seen some lovely projects on peoples blogs I have had a go myself
Over the next few days I have a few projects to show you using the Medallion stamp set and the Kraft cardstock with the Whte Craft.
Here is todays effort!
White card blank with Chocolate chip with the Medallion stamped in White and then heat embossed with White Embossing powder. Yummy! Wide Chocolate Chip ribbon (yummy again) and the sentiment is from the Occasional Greetings set punched out with the Oval punches.

Arty farty angle!

I have a funny story for you now. Yesterday I let Robin (hubby) loose on doing the Asda shopping online, its not difficult because I have SHopping Lists on there and you just have to click the items you want, Anyway I left him to it and thought it will be a nice surprise to see what is delivered today.

IMAGINE MY SURPRISE/HORROR WHEN THE DRIVER HANDS ME OVER A WHOLE CARRIER BAG OF COURGETTES!!!!!!!!! ROBIN HAS SPENT £4.00 ON BLOOMING COURGETTES!!!!! 12 of the little blighters!!!!
Thought I would show you a photo to make you smile! Think he needs to re visit his Kilogram knowledge!!!

Courgette soup anyone!!

Back tomorrow

  1. Hi Jules
Gorgeous card - love the stamp. Just about to have a go with my white pad onto some acetate using silent night.
Mmmm (not) courgettes - now there must be soup, curry, casserole, deep fried, roasted, steamed, in a chineese stirfry, and a real must and treat for left overs - throw them away!!!!!

Let me know what you make with all those courgettes, looks like you're going to be eating them for weeks, you'll probably never eat another one after this LOL.

  10. Hi, you have lovely cards on your blog! For us in Canada, I think your courgettes are what we call "zucchini". Did you know that I have actually used zucchini to make cakes (grated like in carrot cakes) and jams? Yes, it's true, and it's very good!

  11. Hi Julie,

You have very lovely cards on your blog! It looks to me that your courgettes are the same thing as our "zucchini" here in Canada. Did you know that you can use them grated in cakes (like carrot cake!) and grated in jams as well? Yes, it's true--and they're all delicious!
