Jem's Challenge night and a DIY challenge!

On Friday night my SU team (Julie's Jems) had a challenge night on our own forum that we have. We have lots of chit chat but we also do little challenges!! The first one was for us to use the very first Stampin Up set we bought!!! Now me being greedy me bought 3 sets on the first party I ever went to so I had to make a choice and I went for Simply Said!

I used all the different flowers to create a background to look like patterned paper and decided to use the Bold Brights as I dont use them enough, I am more of an Earth Elements type!!! The colours are Pixie Pink with Tempting Turquoise and some black as a contrast!

The sentiment is from the same set and I have used the brand new oval punches. I have found that lots of sentiment fit inside these which is fab!. Ribbons and scallops to finish off!

On Saturday I spent most of the day sorting out my little boys bedroom and building him a new bed!!! I built most of the bed myself and just called upon hubby when I need 2 pairs of hands or a bit more strength!!! Here is the finished product!!!

And here is one happy boy giving it his seal of approval!

Back tomorrow but not from my normal location!!! I am going on a road trip!
