Team Training Swaps

Hi there!!!! OOooooo only 3 days to go until the most wonderful time of the year! No, not Christmas, but Stampin' Up's Sale-a-Bration and Spring/Summer Catalogue!
Today I am running an All Day Training session for our team, which I am really excited about! It's been a challenge though as I have not been well for the last few days! I have had a nasty cough and sore throat so I am hoping my voice holds out!
It's customary at our events to make swap cards and then swap with other team members and here are mine! They are of course based on the card I shared with you yesterday and use 2 new stamp sets! The Hardwood background and another set called Baby We've Grown (a really cute set).
These cards are flat so my team members can adhere them onto their display boards if they wish.
Which would you choose, blue or pink?
I will be back tomorrow, please pop over as from 10am some members of our team are having a Sale-A-Bration blog hop!!

Baby Cards

Hi there! I lied yesterday! I told you I would be back today with a Baby Card to share with you, but I'm not! I'm back with two!!!!!!!! I thought I would show you both the boy and the girl version in one post
This was the first card I made with the Hardwood background stamp. I wanted to create a shabby chic style background so stamped it in Crumb Cake onto some Naturals White cardstock. This has a recycled look to it and is a lot thicker than the Whisper White. The 2 stamps are separate and I stamped them in Crumb Cake and coloured them with the ink pads and a blender pen for a subtle look.
Very simple in the layout but less is more, so they say!
And the pink version! Which is your fave?
I just love these and will proudly be displaying them at my Stamp a Stack event this evening!

Happy 40th Birthday

This week the lovely Sam in our team (well actually I have more than one lovely Sam in our team) turned 40! I have only met this Sam once at the recent convention in November and enjoyed her company very much, lovely bubbly member of our Jems!! This is the female version of the card I shared yesterday showing you how versatile it is for all cards! I have a baby card I will share with you tomorrow! Is it on your Wish List for next Tuesday yet? Tuesday 28th is THE day! Sale-A-Bration launching and the new Spring/Summer all in one go! The good news is my ONLINE STORE will be available 24/7 so no need to wait for me to place the orders for you this year!
The colour combo on this card is Primrose Petals, Pink Pirouette, Pool Party and Crumb Cake (which spoils the P think I had going on there for a minute)! These cards are simple to execute but they look good (well I think so!).
For this girly version I added a few itty bitty shapes punched out and the obligatory rhinestones, a must for any girly card - especially a special birthday!
And yes you guessed it! I used my new fave chevron ribbon along with some silver glimmer paper for the 40! Sam, I hope you had the most wonderful special birthday!
I'll be back with the baby card tomorrow!
