A Wedding Card

Here is the wedding card I made for the same bride as the Bridal Shower card. I have used the Stampin Up Mr and Mrs set which is perfect for wedding and engagement cards!
I have stamped the background with a single stamp to create the look of a patterned paper, used my trusty Stamp a Ma Jig to make sure they were all straight.
The pink I have used is again Pink Passion from the Bold Brights colour family. The & sign is from the Mr and Mrs set also and the "m" is from the Schoolbook Serif Alphabet set.
Scallop edge card from Craftwork Cards and I have used my Scallop Edge punch and added some Black polka dot ribbon from my stash with a czech rhinestone flower buckle which I use for my weddings! Also randomly added some little clear gems to some of the flowers.
Bit of a dismal day here today weather wise!

A card and cupcakewatch!

Here is a card I made for a lady who is bridesmaid for one of my customers. She sneakily found my email from her friend who is the bride and mailed me to get me to make a Bridal Shower card for her friend, and not to say anything!!! How sweet is that?? She also asked me to do a Wedding card which I will show tomorrow. The theme for the wedding is Black and Hot Pink, the bride is a massive Sex and the City fan. THe stamp was one I picked up in a local shop in the sale. Backing paper is Pink Petticoat!
Hot Pink is Stampin Up Pink Passion and the sentiment was something the customer told me she wanted which I have printed on my PC

Now for CUPCAKEWATCH!!!! As you may guess I am now offically obsessed with CUPCAKES!!!! People keep sending me cupcake related items which is fab but I found these gorgeous boxes myself yesterday at a wholesalers I go to!!!! How fantastic are they?

Check out those yummy cupcakes, good enough to eat!! I have now filled up these delightful boxes with my ribbons and bits and bobs!!!

Off to do some filming this afternoon (get me!!) might report back on it later!

Sugar Bowl Challenge

Here is my entry for the Sugar Bowl sketch challenge. I was lucky enough to stamp some of these Gorjuss girls whilst at Steph's house last week (she has them all! ) Now this card is for a very special person, Marlene, who I am proud to have as one of my downline and friends! SHe has recently got promoted in Stampin Up and has done fab so I have sent her this card to say well done! As Marlene is on the DT for Sugar Nellie, what better image to use than a Sugar Nellie image, just hope she doesnt look too carefully at my colouring!!

The image has been coloured using the Stampin Up inkpads and an aquabrush. The colours used are as follows
  • Dress - Pretty in Pink
  • Hair - Creamy Caramel
  • Tights - Certainly Celery and Almost Amethyst
  • Face - Blush Blossom
  • Shoes - Almost Amethyst

The papers are from the new Tea Party range, available in my PAPER SHARE (see above) and I have used a sentiment from the Seasonal Wishes set and layered onto my Scalloped Oval punch!

I love these retro flowers and use them alot, I have added tiny circles in the larger flowers punched out with the 1/4" circle punch. I love the dimension these flowers give to the card!

The boys are back this afternoon, can't wait to see them!
