Final Technique Club card

Hi there and welcome to my blog today. I am sharing the final card from the Technique club which is our "cool down" card! Bit ironic as we actually used the Heat Tool on this card so there wasnt much cooling down going on!

For this card I wanted to share a technique I had seen on Pinterest whereby it showed how someone had coloured their antique brads with embossing powders! So I decided to have a go! Was quite pleased for a first attempt. Couldn't stretch to making another one as I only had 5 Antique brads left!

We dipped the brad in Versamark and then into the Pool Party embossing powder and then heat embossed it! We had a couple of incidents involving hot tweezers but other than that the results were great.

Here are all 3 of the cards together. I have enjoyed sharing these with you and hope you have enjoyed looking at them!

I would love to see you at my next Technique Club which is on Saturday 29th June. Further info to follow shortly!

Oh Hello Gatefold Card

Oh Hello!! Happy Bank Holiday Monday to you! I felt a bit like Miranda typing that! I am back with the second of the technique club cards which was probably the most time consuming! I like to start with the warm up card, then do the more in depth one and then we have the cool down card - which I will share with you tomorrow!

So sticking with the same colour family I went for a gate fold card. I seem to be making a few of these lately! The only problem is that I never want to undo the bow as I think I will never get it the same again!

The technique on this card was the paper pricking using the Occasions template that fits around the oval framelits. I also showed the ladies how to stamp using the marker pens to use on a multi-coloured image.

We stamped the chevron style pattern and then stamped over it with the Basic Grey stitching

We also did a little stamping inside the card too.

Thanks for tuning in today and I will be back tomorrow with the last card from our class.

Oh Hello Technique Club

Hi there and welcome to my blog today. I am having a lazier day today as I have been full on with classes since Friday evening. On Friday I had 17 lovely ladies for Stamp a Stack and then yesterday I had 6 scrapbookers and 4 technique club ladies.

Its hard to prepare for all these classes over a 24 hour period, but it does mean I get a gap on a weekend now! This is what I love about Stampin Up I can run it how I want it to fit in with my family!

Happy to report that these were the first classes I have run at the church since I moved house and I didnt forget to bring anything!!!! My regular ladies know I often forget things and could be seen running back to the house to get them (it was only 2 minutes away) however my new house is a mile away so I was under pressure to remember everything!

Over the next couple of days I will share our Technique Club cards. I started my Technique Club back in February and I have a small teacher-led class and we do 3 cards using the same stamp set. I show the ladies the versatility of the set and they get it included in the cost of the class.

This was our warm up card. I saw one very similar on my favourite place to hang out - Pinterest!! All the cool kids hang out there you know!! This card made the ladies be-friend their Stamp a ma jigs and they had to get jiggy with the stamping! We loved how the patchwork effect looked when we had finished!

The colours we used were the 2011 - 2013 In colours, all of which are staying except for Lucky Limeade - poor Lucky Limeade, I feel a bit sorry for it!

The sentiment was stamped in Basic Grey and then we tied some Calypso Coral ribbon around and then tied a scrap of Pool Party Seam Binding over the knot!

Hope you like the card and come back to see the next one tomorrow!

ONLINE ORDERING

It is with regret that I have to announce that the Stampin Up Online Ordering service has been temporarily removed whilst Stampin Up sort out a few issues. I am sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you.

Rest assured I will still be taking orders and I am happy to do this over the phone or by email. My Online Reward system will not be affected and you will still be able to claim your stars for a online purchase of over £50.

See you tomorrow

Gift Voucher Wallet

Hello another weekend here already!! I made this gift voucher wallet quite a while back and realised I never shared it with you :)

I love to make these for my customers and each one I have made has always been an individual design just for them!

I used the Natural Composition Papers (please don't be fooled by the word "paper" as these are far from paper, much much thicker and perfect for a card blank) with the Oh Hello Stamp set.

The sentiment is from Bring on the Cake which I am using a heck of a lot lately!!! A new fave, thats for sure! The colours are Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo.

I do hope the recipient loved her gift!

Stamp a Stacker card!

Good Morning!!

Arrrggghhh it's starting to snow again! Noooooooooo! I am hoping it won't settle! Tonight I am doing the music at dancing for the last time! I have been on the DJ decks for the last 10 weeks doing the music for the Wednesday Class whilst the owner was away in Australia and tonight is my last one!

So here is a card from our Stamp a Stack event on 1st March. I realised I hadn't shared this one with you yet. It is totally CASED from a wonderful blog HERE - Amy O' Neill!

It's a really simple but really effective card I think, and I love stamping onto Crumb Cake rather than Whisper White or Very Vanilla.

The papers are from Tea for Two suite and the sentiment and the other stamps are from the Oh, Hello set.

If you fancy coming along to a Stamp a Stack please book a place quickly as it's my most popular class that I run! The next one is Friday 26th April and its an ALL MALE CLASS - all cards will have a masculine theme!

Would love to see you there!

Tea for Two scrapbooking

Hello there! Well it looks like it's another day inside today all day! The snow eventually stopped in the afternoon, goodness knows how long it had been showing for!! At least 24 hours I would say!

Here is another page I shared at my Scrapbook Club this month. It uses the Tea for Two product suite and the ladies did a lot of inking and a little tearing.

We used the Oh Hello stamp set and the Feels Good set which has       some lovely sentiments for scrapbooking.

As you can see here, the Feels Good sentiment is perfect for this layout of my Ross.

I usually try to get some photos of my ladies projects but by the time I remembered, there was only Lucy left as the others had left early!

Lucy is still quite new to papercrafting but she definitely has the knack and I love this page.

Love the details!

I just wanted to share with you how deep the snow has been on Friday and Saturday! Here are my boys early on Saturday morning!!!

Keep warm folks!

Team Welcome cards

Morning! Is it snowing with you?? Seems quite light here - I'm really hoping it won't settle and I can get to my last 2 parties of Sale-A-Bration over the next couple of days! Sale-A-Bration has been such a busy but fun time for me this year, but I am looking forward to a couple of weeks off over the Easter period!

Sale-A-Bration is also a busy time to see our team grow!! We have had lots of new ladies join over the last 2 months as the deal for joining up is such a great offer! £162.50 worth of craft items for just £99!!!! Thats 25% more than normal and this ends on Friday!

Here are some cards I have made recently to welcome new members to the team.

I told you how much I am loving these dresses, particularly with the Tea for Two papers, love the vintage look!

I made the card blanks again with the scallop square die in Crumb Cake and inked all around the edges.

Love love love the Tea for Two papers, I want a patchwork duvet in them!!!

The sentiment is from the Oh,Hello stamp set and I have punched it out with the extra large oval punch and inked around it in Crumb Cake.

Really simple card design as the papers do all the work!!

If you are local and would like to learn techniques using these products then why not book a place at my April Technique club. I have just 4 places left.

More Bashful and Saffron!!

Hi there!! I am back with another card from my Card Keeper box, this time one using the Oh Hello stamp set! I must say this is my most used stamp set from the new Spring/Summer Seasonal! I cannot stop using it!! I love the little patchwork effect on the chevron stamp and I love the chevron oval too and the Oval Framelits - so much use already!!

A really simple but effective card and without the bow it would be a good one for posting in the mail too!!!

The colour combo is Bashful Blue and So Saffron again, with a hint of Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade and Early Espresso.

I'm sorry but I have to dash today, so much to do!!

Team Congratulations cards

Hello there! Do you have snow?? We have some which made the trip home from my dancing date last night a little hairy but I got home OK in the end!

Today I am sharing a couple of cards I made for girls in our team who achieved top sales for December and January. These are really good for posting as they are very flat!!!

Yes, I have used the Distressed Dots background stamp again!! This time I have used a Crumb Cake base and the doilies have made an appearance again along with Oh, Hello!! I think I should challenge myself to use something different this week!!!

The colour combo is Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Pretty in Pink and Lucky Limeade.

Hope you like my simple makes and please come back tomorrow when I will share another card!
