Retro Fresh is ......... retro!

Well I am passed the end of April now and still sharing the male cards with you! I do hope you don't mind the additional inspiration?

Today's card is one inspired by a lovely make from the lovely Elaine, a member of our team. Elaine did a wonderful inspiration station using the Retro Fresh suite at our training in April and this circle card really caught my eye! Here is Elaine's original card below.

And here is my version which we created at last weeks Stamp a Stack session. It's very different and very retro I think! The sentiment I have used is from the hostess set Express Yourself - a lovely little set!

 I think this card would suit teenage boys and young adults which I think are the hardest cards to do really. I hope you like this make, why don't you have a go at one yourself, it would work with lots of different papers and colour combos!

Happy Birthday Mum

Today is my Mum's birthday! She will be 68 today, but she doesn't look it at all! Hope I look as young when I am 68! Happy Birthday Mum!! 

I am going to share the card I have made for her! I hope she hasn't read my blog before she has opened the cards! In our teama we now have a weekly colour challenge and this was my card for the colour challenge using Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo.

I decided to make a Criss Cross card as I don't think I have made one of these for Mum before. I used the So Very Grateful and Amazing Family stamp sets with the sentiment on the front from the Label Love stamp set.

I hope my Mum loves her card and you do too! I will be back tomorrow with another make. Today is now all about preps for 2 big parties I have this weekend with 2 of the loveliest hostesses! I can't wait to share Stampin' Up! with their guests and earn them some freebies!!

Petal Parade One Sheet Wonder

Good Morning and welcome to Wednesday on the blog! Today and for the next 2 days I will share the lovely makes from this weeks Tuesday Club. I do really love these makes and they did go down very well with the ladies last night - I think they are all excited about Sale-A-Bration! 

 The colour combination was one I was inspired to use when I saw a gorgeous set of cards my lovely downline Julie Wade made and posted on our team Facebook page. I just loved them - Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana, Pink Pirouette and Strawberry Slush! Thanks Julie!
