Seasonal Catalogue is coming!

Well good morning! The last day in August, jeepers where did the summer go???? Have we had one??

So our Summer Mini finishes today and tomorrow we have the launch of the new Seasonal Autumn/Winter catalogue. I wanted to take a couple of minutes to explain a few changes on the Stampin Up Catalogues as we are entering into a "transition year" to bring us much more in line with our US relations!!

1st September - sees the launch of the Autumn/Winter Catlalogue - you can order from me from Saturday!

1st September - also sees the Retirement List for the 2011-2012 Annual Catalogue - place your orders from Saturday for those items that will leave us!!

Please note the links for these will be added on Saturday evening

1st October - sees the launch of the NEW 70 page larger Annual Catalogue, this will only last us until 30th June 2013 and then our future launch dates will be 1st July!

PHEW! Are you still with me??

OK so here is my favourite card I have made so far with goodies from the Seasonal that goes live TOMORROW!!! The preserved jars are so on trend at the moment, I can see this being a popular set!

I made this card whilst spending a lovely 4 days at my downline Sarah-Jane's house and she suggested we used Vellum cardstock for the jar, how lush does it look?

I even used SJ's sewing machine and did a bit of patchwork!!!!!

The ribbon is a sneak peek from the new Annual Catalogue on 1st October, it was a treat I got in Vienna!!!!!

Right I have to go, I have a really busy but fun packed weekend ahead!!! Can't wait!! I look forward to hearing what you think of the new Seasonal Catalogue, and of course would be delighted to order any products for you! Any orders of £60+ during September will receive FREE delivery direct to your door (saving £4.95) This offer cannot be used for Stampers Club orders!

Baroque Thank Yous

Been a very LONG day here today, had Lucas since 7.45 and man he was wild today. He was all over the place, I am shattered!!!!
Yesterday I had a lovely crafty day! I was lucky to have 3 seperate visits from crafty friends, was lovely!!!!
Here are some cards I made in the morning with a little help from my friend! They are for my customers, I always like to have a stash of them to hand. The colour combo is Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo and Old Olive. The stamp set is Baroque Motifs which is a gorgeous set for making quick cards and it looks very elegant. The sentiment is from Tiny Tags.
I also decorated inside the card to add an extra little bit of something

I really love this colour combo and especially love the ribbon, which by the way will no longer be available after the end of September.
Hope you like my quick easy cards
See you tomorrow

Holiday Album

Hello there!!!!
As promised here is the little project we made on Tuesday night. I got the Planner/Album from my lovely friend and fellow SU demo Bekka. Bekka made me a gorgeous one to store my Monaco photos and memories!
I have used the Pink Flamingo papers to give the album a holiday feel.
The colours used are Cameo Coral (retiring), Summer Sun (retiring) and Real Red (staying).

I used the Just Perfect alphabet for the front and will use this for my photos from France

Please forgive the amount of photos, I have added a photo for each page. I used 5 envelopes to make this album but clever Vicky asked for an extra envelope and she made a Birthday Book!!

The pages inside have been decorated with a mixture of Tiny Tags (on special offer) and Life's a Breeze.

Love this Sun Fun sentiment and Bucket and spade.

Hope you like my album. Please pop over to
Bekka's blog as she has done variety of different albums
Thats all for now, supermarket shopping to do now!

The last of the Teacher cards!!

PHEW I hear you say, no more teacher cards to show!!!
This one is with Flight of the Butterfly and the same colour combos as before, Rose Red, Old Olive and Pretty in Pink!
I have used the Old Olive Designer papers and the Tiny Tags stamp set also. Decorated the bottom of the card with Tiny Tags and also underneath the butterflies to look like grasses.

The sentiment is from Trendy Trees and punched out with the Word Window and layered onto the scallops!!
Sorry for the short post today!!

Thank you teacher swap cards

Good morning

Yesterday I had a lovely day with some members of my downline who came over for some team training. We had a real good laugh, did lots of training of course and also made lots of lovely thing!!
Chris had asked if we could do swaps at the training so I decided to do a teacher thank you card swap as I will be needing these very soon!
As you can see I have used the new A to Z background stamp from the mini catalogue and stamped it in Only Orange. The apple is from Tart and Tangy and stamped in Real Red. I threaded some linen thread around the card and used the Tiny Tags set and matching punch. The tag at the bac has room for you to write the teachers name on as I have above!

The card blank is Kraft (which will soon be known as Crumb Cake).

And here they all are!!

Hope you like them and check back tomorrow for another project!!

Monaco is here at last!!!

Well as you read this I will be on my way to Monaco for the first ever European Incentive trip!!!!! I am very excited but also got butterflies in my tummy!!!!! I have said it many times but it is thanks to my wonderful team and to my fantastic customers that I am making this trip!!
I found out I earned this trip last June, so have waited for a year to go and now its here, it all feels a but strange.

I wanted to make a tiny little gift for the others attending on the trip and I have re-designed a box that I make a lot and I have made it very very tiny!!!! Its only 4 cm square and fits a Lindor ball chocolate in perfectly!!
The photo isnt very good but here they all are together, well a few of them, I have made 25!!!

I used the Tiny Tags set to punch out the labels and tied them on with Silver thread. Here they all are, I hope they survive in my case!

I did have a bit of help from my lovely Evan, he was very keen to help but disappointed when I told him there were no spare chocolates left!!

Bless him, working hard!

I have got a couple of posts scheduled in so please keep coming back and dont forget my Special offer for June

Tri-fold card tutorial

Good morning
Really horrible wet day here today but I am a happy bunny as Thursdays are now my Stampin UP days! I dont do any weddings on Thursday, just SU projects!!!!!
And also my parcel with my new ribbons etc is out for delivery!! Woo hoo!!!!!
OK, A few people asked for a tutorial on the trifold card that I made last week so here goes!!
You need a Scorer/Trimmer, 1 sheet of A4 card and some patterned paper cut 9cm wide
You need to score along the long side to divide the card into 3, I usually score at 9.9cm from one side and then score in at 9.9cm from the other side.

You then need to slice off a piece on a diagonal as shown in picture below, start at top left corner and then come down to the bottom right but not right into the corner, I usally come up about 7 or 8 cms.

You should then be left with a piece of card like this

And folded it looks like this!

Ok, this is how I make sure I have neat layers. I take a piece of patterned paper (9cm wide) and then lay it over the tallest section like the photo below. I then make a pencil mark (you can see it on the left) and then cut from the top corner to the pencil mark

So you should be left with the piece like this

Repeat on the smaller section using the same design, please note I havent stuck the tall piece down wonky!! It moved as I took the photo!!!!

Then its really important that you turn the card over! The alternative patterned paper should be on the opposite side of the card to the white paper, like below

You then should have something like this!

I have then decorated mine using the Flight of the Butterfly set and the Tiny Tags

Papers are Night and Day, only available for limited time!

CLose ups!

Right I am going to stalk the UPS driver now!!

All in a Flutter!

Hi there
This is another card we made on Tuesday night using new products from the mini catty!
The card was cased from a beautiful card I saw this week, I will be back with the link once I find it again!
It uses the All in a Flutter individual stamp from the catty, thats right we now have individual stamps!!! I have coloured the butterflies with the inkpads and blender pens. The background papers are from the Sweet Pea paper pack. Also added some pumpkin pie ribbon and pumpkin pie border punched out with the Eyelet border punch.

And my favourite bit on the card is these gorgeous teeny Tiny Tags tied on with some linen thread!! I love this cute little tags with the matching punch. They have been my bestseller so far this month! If you would like to get your hands on them just drop me a line!

RIght I have got to take the boys to football and then I am going to get my hair done!

Back tomorrow

Punch Art week!!!

Good morning!! I am up with the larks this morning!!
We had an 8.10 dental appointment for all 4 of us, dragged the kids out of bedm, got dressed, brushed our teeth and then we got there to be told the dentist had a flat tyre and was going to be late so they had to re-book our appointment!!! Arrgghhhh!!! Suppose we are up though now!!
This week really is punch art for me!! I have got my Punch Animal class tonight and also on Thursday aswell as having a challenge set on the Craft night on Saturday evening!!! These 3 cards were all made in the one hour allowed for the challenge!!
Cute little lion, reminds me of the Wizard of Oz lion, we will be making him this evening!!!
Next is my favourite, Mr Cheeky monkey!!! Love him!! Swinging through the jungle using the new bird punch!

And finally a cute little ladybird, very quick to make! The papers are from the Night and Day collection and I have used the lovely little Tiny Tags set with the matching punch! How cute do those little tags look just dangling off the ribbon!! We wont be making this one tonight as I have another new one that I have done so I will show that tomorrow!
Right I need to go and prep for this evening, got 8 lovely ladies coming so the Conservatoire is full tonight!!
