Spice Cake going soon!!!

Hello there

I have been a bit lax with my blogging after a busy family Easter weekend. Today I have been feeling really unwell, which is typical as both boys were on planned sport activities for 5 hours today!! I am so not feeling good that I have even had to cancel my Tuesday Club tonight, thats a first!! Thank you to my lovely ladies for being understanding!!

So did you know the Spring Mini finishes in 20 DAYS TIME!! This means there are new products coming but also means that some will leave us too!!!

The Spice Cake Suite has been one of the most popular pages from the Spring Mini and will retire at the end of the month!

Here is a little card I made showcasing the Beautiful Butterflies die and the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder, which is one I dont use very often!!!
I love the simplicity of this design and one of my favourite punches the Decorative Label punch, think this must my the one I have sold the most of over time!! So versatile!!

Hope you like my quick make! I am getting my PJ's on and having a chill out night!

Teacher cards and gifts

Good morning!

Its the last day of school for Evan today so some teacher gifts were required. I decided to make bags for some chocolates for Evan's teacher and also the teaching assistants. I also got the main teacher an extra present which isnt pictured.

I made the fab gift bags that my downline Chris demoed at our training back in January, I keep coming back to this design time and time again. This time I have used the Tart and Tangy set, well just the apple from it and gone with a colour combo of Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie.

I used the FOur Frames stamp and the Thank You Kindly stamp in the centre. Each bag had a Daffodil Delight bow on the handle and a personalised tag

The contents of the bag are Thorntons chocolates.

Here is the card I made to match, same set but added the All in the Family school boy!!

The set together

All 3 cards

The cards fit nicely inside the bags.

After all this effort I hope Evan carries these into school really carefully tomorrow!!

Hope you like them. Will be back tomorrow

Baby Blossoms Tuesday Club

Last night was my Tuesday Card Club and we made a project with Baby Blossoms and Springtime Vintage papers.

I must admit I struggled to come up with something this week after a hectic weekend and preparing to go to Prague this evening. Then I saw a gorgeous set on Maria's blog and she kindly let me CASE!, thank you Maria

We made a simple box to hold 4 10.5cm square cards

Very simple but effective, lots of inking around the edges and lots of stamp-a-ma-jigging too!

Hope you like the cards and the little box and thank you to my ladies for attending - especially my new ladies, Kate and Lisa!

I have a very special trip that starts this evening as I make my way to Prague tomorrow on the Stampin Up Incentive Trip!! I am so excited but also so grateful to my wonderful team and customers, without whom I would not be on the trip!!! Love to you all!!

Watch out for scheduled posts on my blog and a special offer tomorrow

Julie

Good Morning

Hope you are well. I had a fabulous workshop last night at lovely Ann's house. Ann has never had a workshop before although she has attended others and she wasn't sure if she would get enough people together. I have to say she ended up with 11 people and got some great sales. Thanks Ann for having us last night - the spread of cakes and buns was amazing!!

This is the Demo project and the Make and Take.

I based this colour combo on a beautiful swap I got from my wonderful downline Jeannette on Saturday, I also used one of her cards as the basis of my card too! Thanks Jeannette!

I demoed how to make this cute little purse with the Top Note die and the Scallop Circle die.

And here is the card the ladies made. We ran a piece of Crumb Cake DSP through the Big Shot with the VIntage Wallpaper embossing folder and it gave it a really vintage aged look because of the white core of the paper.
The flowers are the Fun Flowers die and I have embossed the top one and the sentiment is from Thank You Kindly stamped onto the Four Frames stamp and punched out with the new Decorative Label Punch.

Some thin Taffeta ribbon was threaded through the button to add a bit of interest!

I really enjoyed myself and want to thank my lovely friend Ginnette who helped me all night and made a great travel buddy!!!

See you tomorrow!

Here is one of the cards we will be making, it is cased from the fabulous Teneale Williams

Its using the Lovely as a Tree set and the colours are Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla with some Early Espresso ribbon.

Lots of inking and also I have decorated inside too!! (its a shame my lovely friend Vicky wont be at class as she would approve!!)
