Flowering Fields Thank You

Hello there! I am a little late blogging today as I have an unexpected visitor in the form of my little niece. As I write this post I have already responded to what seems like 2,050 questions including "what's that" "what you doing Doolie" and "where's Robin"!!!

Today I am sharing another make from the All Day Stamp a Stack last Saturday. The Flowering Fields stamp set has been a popular choice with my customers and it's perfect for those wanting a colouring fix but it's not too demanding on your colouring skills. We used blender pens and ink pads for the the colouring of the flowers.
The greeting is from the Circle of Spring stamp set, it has some lovely greetings and they are perfect for punching out.
Just a little strip of the Blushing Bride glimmer paper is enough for a little sparkle.
There are now only 20 days left of Sale-A-Bration so if you would like this stamp set please don't miss out. My Online Code Club is up and running and I have had some lovely feedback regarding the February Cards and gifts, will share these with you soon.

Weekend Events

Hello there! It’s been a busy weekend of events for me this weekend so I am enjoying a quiet Sunday morning with a very large cup of coffee!

On Friday night I did a party at lovely Jane’s house. She was a first time hostess and was a little nervous about having a party but she needn’t have worried at all as she totally nailed her target (and more) and got to choose some amazing freebies and a half price item. I’d also like to say don’t worry if you think your house isn’t big enough for me to bring all my paraphenalia. Just look at my display I set up on a small coffee table and the window sill! Thank you Jane for hosting a fantastic party!
SO at 8.30 on Saturday morning I began loading my car, it really was packed to the rafters this time and I need to seriously look at getting a new one!
Luckily I came home with a lot less than I took with me!
This card was very popular throughout the day and there were lots of comments on how my ladies loved the Garden in Bloom stamp set. I must say I cannot wait to use it a bit more.
Another popular card on the day, using the Floral Wings Hostess stamp set.
I am very lucky that I have some amazing customers and loyal supporters and the lovely Carol brought me this gorgeous gift. Inside was a Martha Stewart Tip Top Taupe wrist bag with some chocolate and pens inside. Thank you SO much Carol.
As usual my FAB friend Mel came and did the catering for us again. On the menu were Jacket Potatoes with a choice of filling, garlic bread and salad...........
..... with a cupcake of course! This time we had some amazing ones. Fresh Cream and Strawberries
Chocolate and Peanut Butter with a piece of snickers on top and lovely Lemon with Lemon Curd inside.
I could not do these events without my lovely friend Mel, you are so appreciated xx
If you follow me on FACEBOOK here you may have seen my new Classes board made from an Ikea frame that I broke the glass in!! Ooooops!
As usual I had lots of samples on display for my ladies to be inspired by.
It truly was a brilliant day and I am so lucky to have had such a well attended event. Thanks to all my helpers especially Jane who was helping me most of the day.

My next All Day Stamp a Stack on 3rd October has 2 places left and I also have a repeat event on 24th October with 10 places left. More details on my Classes/Events page.

Watercolour Wings for Coffee and Card

Hi there! I am sorry but I have another Watercolour Wings card for you today! I think thats definitely it for a while but it has been a very popular set with my customers.

This was a card we made last week at my Coffee and Card session at the Mill Kitchen. I am there every Tuesday (except school holidays) from 10am for my Coffee and Card drop in session. Only £5.
This card uses Tip Top Taupe card, lace trim and ink and some Sahara Sand DSP from the stack. I made a couple of slightly different designs with the butterflies and I like the muted tones, different to the ones I shared earlier in the week.
My ladies have now got used to stamping on their envelopes so I don’t like to disappoint them!

I have generated a Hostess Code for the month of June which I will be closing on 30th June. Please use code 6VFVG2ZM when checking out on my Online Store if you order is over £20 but under £150. During July I will be sending you a little gift in the post to say thank you. Thank you to my May shoppers for the lovely emails and messages to say your parcels had arrived!

Sheer Perfection Vellum

Hello there! I was so so busy yesterday that I just didn’t get time to blog so I prepared this little post for you last night so you had your “fix” this morning. Tonight I have my regular monthly Stamp a Stack event and then on Saturday my Paper Haven All Day Retreat and on Sunday a team social stamping day! Phew - I then have a very quiet week next week, thankfully!

So tonight I am excited to share this card as it’s one of those that I really like. It was totally cased from Amy K in Georgia, thank you so much Amy.
I have actually used 4 Sale-A-Bration items on this card! I know, I know, SAB overload but I couldn’t help it! We have the Sheer Perfection Vellum, the In Colour Accessory pack, the Natures Perfection stamp set and finally the Simply Wonderful stamp set! The colour combo is Pool Party, Pear Pizazz and Lost Lagoon.
Really hope my ladies enjoy this one at class tonight.
