Graffiti wall

Good Morning to you! The start of another week, I can’t believe it is already August. Ooo by the way I have just created August’s Code Club this morning so if you would like to shop on my Online Store then the code to use when spending between £25 and £150 is at the bottom of my post!

Last weekend it was Evan’s best friends birthday and Louis was celebrating his 12th birthday. A lot of my customers struggle with male cards and in particular ones for older boys and young men. Well my advice is don’t stress about the card too much - they are often much more interested about what is inside!! Joking aside - Louis has got used to me making him a handmade card every year and so has his Mum and they like to see what I come up with. This years was very easy with the addition of the Brick Wall Embossing Folder to our fab catalogue. I promise you it is a must have!

Edited to add - I made this card about a week and a half ago and only blogged about it this morning. I omitted to add that I must have originally seen a very similar design on Pinterest a lady called Lindsey - you can find her original post herePlease accept my apologies Lindsey, I have never been on your blog until today but I must have seen your fab creation on Pinterest and like many it stuck in my brain somewhere - not that there is much space left!
To create this card I used a 14cm x14cm piece of Whisper White card stock and began stamping all over it with various different stamps (products used listed at the end of my post) and then I very gently inked up the Brick Wall folder with a swipe of the Smoky Slate ink pad and rolled it through the Big Shot - remember do your stamping first!
I haven’t used Pacific Point for an age but after a discussion with a lovely fellow demonstrator on what colours we use and don’t use I realised this was one of my most unloved colours but it worked perfectly for this make. The great thing about this card is that it’s flat for posting too.

Hope you like todays make, I am off to whip up a few creations in my craft den this morning and tackle the pegging out of the washing!

I have opened a new Code Club for August and the code to use is  SCVAC3K4  please use this code when prompted when shopping online with me and spending between £25 and £150, a gift will be sent to you in September. Please do not use on orders over £150 as you will qualify for your own Stampin Rewards. For my local customers you can still take advantage of this and email me your orders which I will process at the end of August and you too will receive a free gift

Last of the Cherries!

Hello there! It’s back to school in our house and Ross just has 5 exams left, after this week it will just be 3!! Feel like there is light at the end of the GCSE tunnel!

Today I am sharing a couple of projects using the same Cherry on Top DSP stack. These are the last of the set you will be pleased to know! Again I have used the Friendly Wishes for the card and the new hostess set, A Whole Lot of Lovely for the little box.
I stamped the sentiment below in Versamark and then I embossed it in black and I was really pleased with the effect of it. Again I am loving using the small flower from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack, really really useful little set as it contains a star and a heart too.
And here is the full collection together.
Hope you like them? I am going to prepare things for my Coffee and Card for tomorrow and our Team Training on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Gift Bag

Good Morning! It’s a lovely sunny morning here in Yorkshire! I had a lovely Stamp a Stack last night with 9 lovely ladies and I am looking forward to my Technique Class this afternoon.

Today I am sharing another project with the Cherry on Top papers and the colour combo of Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder. This Gift Bag was made with the Gift Bag Punch Board which is a new addition to our new catalogue.
I have used the same stamps from Friendly Wishes and embossed them in white.
The flower from the Itty Bitty punch pack gets loads of use and I punched it out again in Cucumber Crush and snipped 2 off to make the leaves.

I will be closing the order for my Online Code Club after my class today so it’s your last chance to do an Online Order with me of over £20 and get a little treat in the post.
The rewards are building up nicely for my new Online Code Club. Use this code with any spend over £20 but under £150 on my STORE

Mini Treat Bag meets Cherry on Top!

Hey there! I am a little bit late with the blog again today as I have the decorators still here and we have been busy shifting furniture etc... I am hoping they will be finished today though!

Today I am sharing a project I gave a Sneak Peak of on my Facebook page this morning. I do love the Mini Treat Bag die and the good news is that it is carrying over into the new catalogue. I have teamed it with Cherry on Top paper stack that I am really loving. The bad news is the paper stacks have gone up £1 HOWEVER they are now bigger and are 6x6 in size, hence the reason for the price increase! You need 2 sheets for each Treat bag which means you could get 24 bags from one stack,
The colours in this particular paper are Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush. I have also used the gorgeous Cucumber Crush Spotted Lace Trim. The stamp I have used is also new from a set called Friendly Wishes. I stamped in Versamark and embossed in white.
Hope you like this one! I’d better get back to supervise!

Now, if you still want some items from the current catalogue or want to get your hands on the Weekly Deals I still have my Online Code Club that is ongoing. I will be closing this order on Saturday morning, so that will be your last chance.

The rewards are building up nicely for my new Online Code Club. Use this code with any spend over £20 but under £150 on my STORE
