Last of the ReTREAT projects

Hello there. Well the decorating is starting today, very exciting and cannot wait to see our new room finished. Today I am sharing the remaining ReTREAT day projects with you. I saw some amazing cards on Dena Rekow's BLOG. I am a big fan and I love what Dena did with the Botanical Gardens set so I CASED her style for this gift bag and matching card.
The flowers on the gift bag have been stamped and then cut out with the dies. The flowers on the card were simply cut from coloured card stock. I think I prefer the flowers on the card.
I went for quite a bright combo of Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral and Cucumber Crush which was a contrast to the papers we used in the morning. We also used a bit of the lush Gold Foil card which goes so well with the black/white combo.
Really enjoyed making these projects but I am not rolling any more of those flowers out for a week or so! I was seeing them in my sleep for a few days, as I am sure most of my ladies were!
There are only 2 days left of Sale-A-Bration 2016. 2 days to get your hands on the free exclusive goodies. I will be closing my Online Code Club tomorrow at 9am, please make sure you order before then if you are wishing to take part and receive a gift in April.

Mother's Day - Part 2

Good Morning. Well I have now done just over a full week at my new studio and I have to say it's been brilliant. I have had such positive feedback from people attending classes and I am feeling  much more productive and creative being there. This Saturday I have an Open Morning from 10am - 1pm. It's just an informal drop in style morning where you can have a nosey at my new space, book onto some classes, have a cuppa and cake, make a card and discuss your private party booking with me. The event is FREE or if you would like to make a card there will be a fee of £2 per person to cover materials. If you can make it please let me know.
Today I am sharing another Mother's Day card, this one was for my Mother-in-Law, Molly.  We made this at my Stamp a Stack in February as I like to get ahead with cards as much as possible at the moment. The paper is from the Birthday Bouquet set and it is Mossy Meadow. Now this leads me to remind you that if you have the following ink pad colours you really need to consider purchasing the ink refills now as they will be gone in a few short weeks - Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow, also don't forget extra card stock too.
The stamp sets used are Birthday Blossoms, for the flowers, and Crazy About You, for the sentiments.
I used some of the lush wide Watermelon Wonder ribbon too.
My MIL loved the card, hope you do too!
My Online Code for March is now up and running and the February gifts will be with you very soon!

Balloon Gift

Hello there! Gosh this first week back is going quickly for me! Not sure my boys would agree, they cannot wait for the weekend!

When I was crafting in between Christmas and New Year I was very conscious of working in Product Suites and doing a few cards with each set/suite. This is why you have seen the It's My Party suite for the last couple of days! I had a spare little doggy left over from a few months ago when we made them in class so I decided to use her on this card, again using up my paper and card scraps.
I am loving the balloon bouquet punch and think this is going to be a regular favourite of mine. Balloons on birthday cards are suitable for all ages I would say.
Again I inked the balloons quite heavily around one side of the balloon to make it more "balloon like", hope you get what I mean there!  I have added a cheat sheet of how to make the dog but please note the Boho Blossom punch for the hair has retired so I used the new Blossom Bunch punch.

Hope you enjoy making these!±
See you tomorrow

Crazy About You

Hello again and welcome to my blog today where I am sharing yet another card from my monthly Stamp a Stack in October. This card was based on a gorgeous card I saw made by Dena Rekow and you can see her card HERE
I didn’t have the striped background stamp so had to substitute with the Dots for Days background stamp set. I love the colours used on this card and have found a new revived love for Rich Razzleberry lately! And have you noticed the lovely Rich Razzleberry flower has been punched out with the Flower Medallion punch that is conveniently on the Weekly Deals this week! Reduced to £12.00. I have an order going in this evening.
Now before everyone asks where the sentiment is from, its from the Watercolour Wishes kit which is a fantastic kit to make 20 cards and then you are left with this fab stamp set when you have made all the cards.

Scallop Tag Topper Concertina Card

Hello there! I am back with projects! Today’s make is one from my retreat last week but it’s not a new project, let’s just call it a re-work! I do have a video on how to make this which I will share at the end of this post.
I first shared this at one of my team trainings I think in January last year and it’s been very popular since so I included it as part of my Fancy Fold class at my retreat. It just uses 1 sheet of 12x12 Designer Series Paper and then some bits of card stock etc...
My ladies got the English Garden papers included in their kit and spent a long time deliberating over which patterns to use. As you can see both sides are displayed on the card, one when closed and one when opened.
Lots of the ladies chose to use different words, such as names of the recipient, wedding and teenager.
Here is my video from a year and a half ago. It’s a bit rusty but should help you.
Please have a go at making one and don’t forget to share with me!

I have created a new Online Code which is EHRPKAXP. If you are shopping during September and spending between £25 and £150 then please use this code and you will receive a little gift in the post in early October.

Cherry on Top DSP for Coffee and Card

Good Morning to you! The sun is shining today and the skies are blue and I am just catching up after a busy day with the launch of the new catalogue yesterday. Thank you to those of you who placed orders yesterday on my Online Store - I really enjoyed seeing which new products you had chosen!

Yesterday I also ran my Coffee and Card session with 6 lovely ladies and we made a very bright and summery card which was totally CASED from and inspired by my lovely team member Allie, you can find her original designs HERE. Thank you Allie.
Think the ladies were relieved that there was no ribbon or bow tying on yesterdays card and it was a lot more relaxed because of this! How does ribbon do that to people????
The ladies had a choice of the cupcake or the balloon as I didn’t have enough of the same paper for everyone to do! So here is the Balloon option!
And here are both of them together. Which do you like best?
As usual we have some Weekly Deals as it’s Wednesday and here they are.
And I have my Hostess Code fully set up now and it’s already been used by some keen shoppers!

I have generated a Hostess Code for the month of June. Please use code 6VFVG2ZM when checking out on my Online Store if you order is over £20 but under £150. During July I will be sending you a little gift in the post to say thank you.

Coffee and Card card!

Good Morning! It’s another bright and sunny day here in Yorkshire. Hope you had a lovely Easter weekend in the sunshine, makes such a huge difference to people’s spirits doesn’t it? My boys went to a local football match yesterday with my Dad and then they all came back for tea as my Mum was out for the day. We had a lovely meal, I have to say I don’t enjoy cooking but was proud of my efforts!

Today I am sharing a simple make that we made at my March Stamp a Stack and also my Coffee and a Card event last Tuesday. I will be back at the Mill Kitchen on Tuesday 21st April for more Coffee and Card sessions. We made this card as an Easter card but the ladies had the option to change the sentiment if they wished to.
Stamp sets used are Petal Potpourri and Crazy About You. The colours used are Blushing Bride, So Saffron, Pear Pizazz and Soft Sky, a lovely Spring combo! The leaves were made by cutting some extra flowers with the Flower Medallion punch and cutting them out, inking them around the edges and then added some White Gel Pen highlights.
Right must dash, I am working on finishing up my Team Training makes for tonight and tomorrow. Been working on this little guy! I’ll share him with you later in the week!
