Bye Bye Birthday Blooms!

Good Morning and welcome to my blog today, a little later than planned but I am here nevertheless! Yesterday our Clearance Rack was updated and if you click on the image above you should be taken to my store where you can see the bargains to be had! Some items are reduced by up to 60%. Please note that orders are taking a little longer at the moment due to this!

As well as our Clearance Rack, we also have our Last Chance List and today I am featuring a stamp set that will be retiring very soon along with the gorgeous Petal Passion papers that will also leave us soon!
The colours used for the card are Berry Burst for the card base and the ribbon and then I have used my Rich Razzleberry Stampin Blends to colour in the main part of the flower. I am not sure if you can see but I have also gone over the flower with the Wink of Stella clear pen to give it some shimmer.
If you would like to get the supplies for this card then please head over to my Online Store, any orders over £25 will qualify for my free gift and for every £30 you will also get a ticket into my prize draw to win a free Stamparatus tool!
We have a brand new set of tutorials that are available when you spend £45 or more on my store. These will be emailed to you, 12 exclusive tutorials from around the world!
Or you can purchase them as a one off payment

Birthday Blooms Aperture Card

Hello there and happy Saturday to you! I had a little day off from blogging yesterday but I'm back today with another make from last weeks Tuesday Club. I had a bit of a theme of florals and navy and I decided to go with an aperture card for this one. I love a bit of colouring in and this stamp is perfect for that and the class kept my ladies entertained for a little longer than usual!
The Crumb Cake ribbon has been a favourite of mine and will be leaving us at the end of May. I am sure I will find a new go to ribbon but this has been so useful, grab some whilst you still can!
Hope you like today's make. It's another busy day for my at The Paper Haven, I have a class this morning and a private birthday party this afternoon!

Birthday Blooms

Hello again and Happy Saturday. Today I am at the studio all day as I have a repeat 1/2 day Stamp a Stack this morning and then my second Crafternoon Tea this afternoon so it's busy busy.

I thought I would share another Stamp a Stack card with you from last Friday. I really enjoyed designing and making this one and I have to tell you it was the first time I had used the heart border stamp from the Birthday Blooms stamp set
I love a bit of colouring in but not too much so this card just fits the bill. I added a bit of Pool Party around the image to really make it pop and I think it does, hope you agree!
I hope you have a great day whatever you are up to today!

Ice Cream Birthday

Hello and Good Morning. I had a mega busy weekend this past weekend and would like to thank everyone who came along to my open morning on Saturday at The Paper Haven, it was lovely to meet some new crafters and also welcome existing friends to my new place. On Saturday afternoon I ran my first Crafternoon Tea event and will share the photos later in the week with you.
Today's project is a card we have made at 2 events, firstly at my All Day Stamp a Stack and secondly at my Coffee and Card last week. I love this ice cream stamp which is part of the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set, which is only available for another 16 days!
I created a new sensation with this card - patterned ice cream! I do think these 2 look particularly tasty! The sentiment is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set which I find to be a really useful greeting and I love the mix of fonts.
Anyway, I hope you have enjoyed today's make and thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. Thanks also to my shoppers so far this month, the code will be available for just over 2 weeks longer.

Tea Cup Stack

Hey there and happy weekend to you! Today it's my first All Day event at The Paper Haven and I am looking forward to running my Stamp a Stack for 12 lovely ladies, each making 24 cards. This is one of the cards the ladies will be making, well I say one but they will make 4 of each card design. I think this is probably my favourite card of the day as it ticks a few boxes for me! I LOVE the vintage floral patterns and I LOVE a cup of tea too!
The papers used are from the Love Blossoms suite which has really grown on me lately and it's included in the ladies goodie bags tomorrow.
The sentiment is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set which just about fits inside the 1 inch circle punch for a cute little addition to the top cup!
If you are interested in making this card then I am running a repeat of the All Day Stamp a Stack but it will just be a Half Day Stamp a Stack! Same kit, same cards but just 2 of each of the 6 designs. £28 for the class which includes a £22 goody bag
Saturday 9th April
10am - 1pm
8 seats available.

Rose Wonder in Blackberry Bliss

Good Morning to you. Hopefully I should now be back into more of a routine with my blogging schedule! The next few weeks are pretty busy for me as we enter the final month of Sale-A-Bration 2016. One month left to get your hands on those SAB freebies! Last week I held my last Stamp a Stack at the church hall and this is one of the cards we made. I wanted to show of the Rose Wonder dies and also focus on the In Colours that will leave us in May. Last year these went so so quickly, within the first few minutes of the Retirement List going up so if you have any of the following ink pads I suggest you purchase the Ink Refills ASAP. Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow.

I was totally inspired by a set of cards from Melanie Smith which you can find on her blog HERE where she made the same card in each of the In Colours that will leave us.
The card is very simple to construct but my advice is to use the Precision Base Plate on the Big Shot and also the new Die Brush which makes it so easy to get the bits out! The hardest part is begin careful with the glue as its quite delicate to glee down.
Inside got a little decoration too with the flower from the Rose Wonder stamp set.
Thank you to all those who used my February Online Code. I will be creating a new code for March tomorrow.

Birthday Blooms (again)

Hello there! Amazingly I am posting 2 days in a row this week! I have used Birthday Blooms a lot over the past few weeks, I've found it a lovely stamp set to use. I coloured this flower in class just on standard Whisper White to show my ladies some watercolouring. I do find the Shimmery White card a little easier to colour on than the Whisper White though.
The papers are from the Birthday Bouquet range, one of my favourite sets we have ever had in a catalogue.
A little Pool Party Glitter ribbon finishes the card off.
Sorry for the short post, I am spending the day down at my studio today getting everything finished. The toilet needs another coat of paint and luckily my lovely Dad is coming to assist in that department!
Just a reminder that I am closing the February Online Code Club tomorrow lunch time so if you would like to order and get a free gift in a few days then please pop an order in!
Thank you
Julie
