My week (part 1)

Hello there! Are you still following me? I have been a naughty blogger and been a little absent these past few days! With my classes finishing on the 10th it has been catch up for me including School Performance viewing, making my personal Christmas cards, having my hair done, present purchasing and wrapping and catching up on housework before the big day! And thats before I mention going out on a couple of Christmas do's and out dancing with my fabulous Paulo twice this past week!

I thought I would share with you what I have been up to craft wise this week!

On Monday I had a bit of a My Digital Studio session as I offered to help my sister with some Birth Announcement/Thank You cards for Mollie Grace. I am honoured to say both the photos used (there is one on the back) are ones that Auntie Julie took! I used the Announcing Baby Girl postcard template from my Online Store - link HERE which is only £3.50 and then I added the banner across the top and changed the colour and just added a flower with a pearl in the centre! It really was very easy to do. The photo was taken on my Iphone and I recoloured it to sepia in My Digital Studio at the click of a button - simples!
The little postcards fit perfectly into out smaller Crumb Cake envelopes. My sister and her husband are very impressed with these, I just need to make 30 of them this afternoon now!
And talking of the little lady! I was in charge of her for a whole hour on Tuesday as her Mummy and Daddy went to watch her brother in his school play. It was bliss! We had lots of cuddles - I think she likes Auntie Julie.
Just look at her asleep on my shoulder here!!
On Monday I also made a start on my personal and customer Christmas cards again using My Digital Studio but I created a hybrid card. A hybrid card is when its part MDS and then also has some "real" products on too!!! I totally CASED this wonderful card I received as a swap at Convention from the talented Trevor Poole. Both Trevor and his Mum Irene are just the loveliest people - thank you Trevor for allowing me to case your card.
I did feel like I was still crafting - even though most of the elements were done in MDS and I think my customers have enjoyed seeing the results judging by the texts and messages I have received.

So I think you can say it was a My Digital Studio MONDAY for me this week
