Snow Day

Good Morning! Did you miss me yesterday? I didn't blog as it was Evan's 11th Birthday and I was busy busy busy. We all say it but I cannot believe how quickly he has grown up. I have added a couple of photos to the end of this post so those of you who know him can see how he has changed! When I started Stampin Up Evan was only 5 (like the photo of him with his lunch box) and now he is almost as tall as me!

I had my Tuesday Club this week (in the newly decorated blue room) and was joined by 12 lovely ladies this time. We made 2 extended Christmas cards. Extended in that they took a little longer and also we extended the Circle Thinlits card to make an extra flap.
I have had the Snow Day stamp set for some time and this was only the second time I had used him! I had seen someone use the Burlap ribbon for a little scarf and I thought it looked so cute so I did the same.
I stamped the snowman in the Encore Silver ink pad for a bit of shimmer!
You will see I have used the retired stamp set For my Family. I cannot bear to part with this one as it is so useful for family occasions.
And as promised here are the photos of Evan aged 2, 5 and nearly 11.
