Super Strictly Starts tonight!

Its an exciting day in the Kettlewell household - Strictly Season begins!!! To celebrate we are having a little Strictly party this evening!!
I had to make some decorations for the event so I made some bunting!! We have a new die for the Big Shot!! The Pennant die!!! Whooo hooo!!!!

I have made bunting with the contestants faces on using the die. The circles that are layered behind their faces are also from the same die!

The ribbon is gorgeous, its Scalloped Dotty Ribbon!! Scallops and Dots - LOVE IT!!! My friend kindly gave me this reel when she visited the US, but we will have it from tomorrow!!

Who is your favourite to win?? Here is mine - JASON DONOVAN!! I was a big Jason fan and loved Neighbours when he was Scott Robinson, in the Scott and Charlene days, so I will be routing for him to win!

The boys and I decided that each time someone is voted off we will cover their faces with a circle!! Then I can use the bunting for something else!! FAB!!!

Right thats me done for today!

If you would like to get your hands on lots of the new products I now have 2 PLACES left on my £25 a month hostess club which runs for 6 months. Please get in touch asap to reserve your place

New Stamp Scrapbooking

Good morning!!

Not long to go now until the most exciting weekend ever!! Launch of the new Stampin Up Catalogue AND the brand new series of Strictly starts tomorrow night at 9pm!!!! We are having a Strictly party to celebrate, photos to follow!!!

Here is a 6x6 scrapbook page I made last week. It was one of the makes and takes supplied by Stampin Up at a recent training event - another cool reason for being a Stampin Up demonstrator!

When I showed my Tuesday Club ladies the new catalogue a couple of them LOVED this new circus themed stamp set. Its called Under the Big Top and is fab!!

I love the little clown! It does come with sentiments on the bottom but you can mask them off if you don't want to use them, just like I have done here!

This is a photo of Evan on his 2nd birthday! He was a big lad back then! Look at the size of his hands! They are like shovels!! Very cute though - don't you agree!! He is sitting on a tractor that we got him - he was obsessed with tractors and horses at this age!

The bunting is made using circle punches folded over and the flags are embossed with the Polk Dot embossing folder. The small piece of stripy paper you can see is from the matching paper pack that goes with the stamp set!

Hope you enjoyed my little scrapbook page, until tomorrow

Another Sneaky Peek!!!

Good morning! How are you?
I had a lovely card class last night although I think I made it too easy for them!! Will have to challenge the ladies next time - think more punch art is in order!!

Here is a card I made with a gorgeous new A La Carte (single) stamp from the brand new catalogue (out on Saturday). It is a great stamp for doing batches of Christmas cards and I am so pleased it made it into our catalogue!

I have used a colour combo of Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip.

But the most exciting thing is, how gorgeous does it look embossed in gold!! Wowee, I don't often do embossing but I will be doing a lot more with this stamp, really pleased with the effect.
Hope you like my sneak peak, this and many others will be on display at my Launch event on Saturday. £10 entry but free with an order of £45 on the day and you could win the hostess benefits too!!

Contact me to book a place!

Springtime Vintage bag

Good morning to you!! Ooopss I missed a day!! Had a very busy day yesterday (more of that later)! On Saturday evening I spent some time with a lovely group of crafting ladies who made this project below.

It was the old faithful bag that I use for all my demos, I love this bag and it comes in so handy for many occasions!!!!

I used the Springtime Vintage product suite which retires on Friday!! Those papers are still available though so grab some quick! If you would like to order them please let me know.

The flower on the from is the Fun FLowers dies and we added a gorgeous big button, again these will no longer be available after Friday!!

The tag on the bag is made from the Four Frames stamp set and the Sincere Salutations stamp set, stamped in Pear Pizazz and Rose Red.

I had some good news on Sunday too!! For those of you who have known me for a long time you may know I took part in The Full Monty back in 2008!! Well the theatre company are doing the show again as it was such a huge success!! I re-auditioned for my original part yesterday and got it!!! I was going to have a break from shows for a few years but I NEVER imagined they would ever repeat this wonderful show so I am back for a brief period!!! For a little bit of info here is the post from 2008 when I did the show!! Its on in May 2012 for anyone interested in coming to watch!!!

Christmas Stamp a Stack!!

Good afternoon, a little late posting today as I have been at dancing with Evan this morning!!

We had such a good laugh at the Stamp a Stack last night, mostly at my expense I may add, made a couple of faux pas!!!!!! But the good news is (and I am sure my regular class ladies will appreciate this) we made 12 cards in one night and I DIDNT FORGET TO BRING ANYTHING!!! Wooo hoooooo!!!!!

So here are all the cards we made 6 designs, 2 of each design!

The first one, this was probably the most time consuming one, using Season of Joy and a colour combo of Chocolate Chip, Naturals Ivory card and Old Olive

Next up was a simple Sparkly and Bright card. I like to throw a few simple ones in there to compensate for the lengthier ones. This is a colour combo of Real REd, Old Olive and Soft Suede. This stamp set retires next Friday, grab your whilst stocks last!

Next up is Welcome Christmas, I really love this set and it gave us the chance to get the Dazzlin Diamonds glitter out!!!

I was very kind to the ladies with this card as I pre-made all the bows for them, yes I sat the other evening at my scrapbook club and tied 40 bows for them!!!! I think they were very glad they didn't have to tie 4 bows each!!

I loved this card and it is based on a swap I got from the lovely Betty who is my second level downline. This was another time consuming card but the ladies were pleased with the results!

And finally a simpler card, jut a bit of fiddly cutting out!! Serene Snowflakes used and a crisp colour combo of Night of Navy and Whisper White

Hope you are still with me after all those photos!!!

My next Stamp a Stack is

MONDAY 24th OCTOBER

The theme will be NEW CATALOGUE and we will make 12 cards with sets from the new catalogue. The cost is £15 for 12 cards or get the class FREE with an order of £45 or more on the night!!

See you soon

Baby Photo Album

Good morning!! Yipppeee its Friday, got my Stamp a Stack tonight!!!

A few weeks ago I was commissioned to make a baby photo album for a friend who had a little boy called Freddie!!! (I went to visit him yesterday, he is so cute).

I had some plain black albums left from my wedding business so I set to work with the Bundle of Love stamp set and Marina Mist/Baja Breeze. The ribbon is Marina Mist striped grosgrain and I have cut the letters from Baja Breeze, I think they work quite well together even though they are different colours
I tied a bow on the box and one on the album itself

The letters were cut from the Big Shot Timeless Type alphabet set.

Baby Freddie;s Mummy loved the album, I hope you do too!!

Hopefully back tomorrow with another project or maybe photos from tonights event!!

Stamp A Stack cards

Good morning. Its nearly the weekend!!! I have my Stamp A Stack tomorrow night and have lots of cards planned for the ladies. We will be making 12 Christmas cards in 3 hours, 6 different designs - 2 of each design!!!

I have to keep them quite simple as they have 30 minutes to do 2 cards. This is one of the designs using Serene Snowflakes, a set I don't really use that much

I always think it lends itself to blue so I have stamped it with Night of Navy. The card blank was stamped with Whisper White Craft ink all over. Top Note die creates a bit of interest, very useful that Top Note!!
I cut an additional snowflake out and layered it up and added a rhinestone

The sentiment is from the retiring set Occasional Greetings, punched out with the Scallop OVal punch.

Thats it from me today, I have so much to do as usual, its such a busy time of year with the new catalogue around the corner. If you are in my Hostess CLubs I am posting your catalogues today. If you would like to be in one, I have 1 last place available

Back tomorrow

Christmas Club Cards

Good morning!!! Busy busy busy as usual here. I am working on new samples as well as running my usual classes and clubs. These cards are the ones we made on Monday night at Christmas Card Club - 5 cards of each design!

The first card uses the popular Dasher stamp, a great value stamp at £7.95, perfect to do bulk Christmas cards.

I have gone for a Black and White theme and used the Designer Papers from the stacks. The Tope Note die features on both cards, I love this die, its been really popular! Some bling was added to Dasher's antlers.
The sentiment is a little sneak peek into a new sentiment set called Petite Pairs.

The next card was my favourite but my example is a very "rough" version! I got lots of embossing powder loose on the card and you can see speckles of it and then I got some Cherry Cobbler ink residue also on the front of the card! But hey I am not perfect, I make mistakes too!! Lots of them!!!!
I love this new single stamp from the new catalogue, Something for Christmas. Again a perfect stamp to do bulk Christmas cards. And I hope you will agree it looks gorgeous embossed in gold!
Thats all for now folks. Working all day on Stampin Up today.

I STILL HAVE THAT ONE PLACE LEFT ON MY STAMPERS 6 HOSTESS CLUB, PLEASE MESSAGE ME TO TAKE THE PLACE, STARTS ON 25TH OCTOBER.

Springtime Vintage Goodbyes!

Good morning! Is winter here already? It looks so cold and miserable this morning, I don't want to go out!!!

Last night I had my lovely Tuesday Card Club and we did something a little different, we made a 3D item and a matching card. Lots of inking and layering.

We used the Springtime Vintage papers which will no longer be with us after 30th September. I LOVE these papers, so on trend and great for cards and scrapbooking.

I made my bag in Rose REd and then decided it would probably look nicer in Crumb Cake to match the card so lots of the ladies made theirs in Crumb Cake.

The sentiment on the tag is from the Occasional Greetings set which has 40% off at the moment and is still available.

And here is the card. We used the Friendly background stamp again!! Only £10.17, great value for a huge stamp.
We made a quilted top note with the square punch a little bit of inking!

Inside the card, again the greeting is from the Occasional Greetings

And I showed the ladies how to do a double bow with the Baja Breeze Seam Binding ribbon!

Hope you like? I am going to brave the elements on the school run and then tackle the Asda shopping!!

ONLY 2 PLACES LEFT ON MY VIRTUAL HOSTESS CLUB - SPEND £25 a MONTH FOR 6 MONTHS and GET HOSTESS BENEFITS ON THE BRAND NEW HOSTESS PACKAGE!!!!
