All Day Training Part 2!

Thank you for your lovely comments on my training day, here I am (a little later than anticipated) with part 2!
So after we had made our lovely bag it was time for lunch and of course a cupcake!! I asked my friend to make them in pink and purple to match our project!!!!
After lunch I talked about "Sharing what you love" and encouraged the girls to do this and went through some business ideas and then it was time to CRAFT!!!
We made this baggie book. I first saw these on a lady called Ronda Wade's blog in the USA and I know my upline Monica and Stampin sister Bekka used them at their training so I had to have a go!

They are a great way to showcase cards from the same stamp set without the cards getting damaged.

Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive

Basic Gray, Very Vanilla and Basic Black

Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive and Melon Mambo with Very Vanilla

Concord Crush, Pretty in Pink, Basic Black and Very Vanilla

River Rock, Tempting Turquoise and Rich Razzleberry

Here are the girls all crafting.

It was such a fab day and coupled with my lovely Evelyn staying for 2 nights it was a great weekend.
If you are a demonstrator or indeed thinking of signing up to be a demonstrator then please get in touch with me. Our next event is Saturday 9th April and I would LOVE to see you there!

All Day Training Part 1

WOW - What a fab day we had yesterday!!! I am sat here in my PJ's on my second cup of coffee and just going through all the lovely photos!! Thanks to the wonderful 21 ladies who came yesterday to share such a fab day!!
I am splitting this post into 2 parts as there are a LOT of photos!!
OK, so swaps!! Always a favourite at training and a chance to get lots of lovely samples back!!! We had a love theme for pur swaps with Valentines day just around the corner and here is my offering!!!
Fox and Friends stamp set and a colour combo of Real Red, Early Espresso and Wild Wasabi.

Here are most of the swaps lined up!

Unfortunately I ran out of Real Red paper so I made one in Rich Razzleberry! Interesting to see how it looks in a different colour combo!

Here is a shot of the room before the madness began!!!
All the girls had a name badge (jim'll fix it style we thought!!!!)

Angela and her lovely downline Julie, they are the best of pals!
Becki, Karyn and Eveyln.
Now my lovely Chris demoed this great little project of an evening bag with NO STAMPING!!!! We combined it with the Lap of Luxury papers and the girls could choose to do a Pretty in Pink or a Concord Crush bag.
Here is the lovely Chris doing her demo, she was fab and very confident and also had us all in stitches too which is always a bonus!!

I even managed to do some crafting myself too, whilst Chris was doing her project, I made one!!

Here is Gem's version, stunning in Basic Gray and Concord Crush!

And this was Allie's , love the monogram A she has added.

Well thats all for now, will be back tomorrow with more photos of the afternoon projects.
I want to say a huge thanks to all the girls who came for making it such a special day. If you think this is for you then why not join us at the next one!!!!!

5 minute Punch Bunch!

Last week my lovely friend looked after Evan for us so we could go and see Strictly (my other friend looked after Ross but she caught me buying the wine in the shop so I gave her it there and then!) so I wanted to get her a bottle of wine to say thanks!!
At 8.25am I realised it looked really boring but time was of the essence so I made this in under 5 minutes and it just jazzes it up a bit!!

Its from the Punch Bunch set that you can earn free with a spend of £45. I have coloured the stamp with my marker pens and then just added some Old Olive satin ribbon.

My friend commented on how lovely the tag was and I just smiled, didnt tell her I made it 15 minutes before I gave it to her!! Thats what I love about Stampin Up, you can make things so quickly!!!!

Back tomorrow with a more in depth project!!!!

I heart Scrapbooking

Hello there
Very late post from me today, have had such a busy day and only just had time to sit down at the laptop!! This afternoon I have been with one of my brand new team members, Shazza, helping her get sorted with her Starter Kit and with some card samples. Had a lovely time and it was lovely to see all Shazza's new kit spread out on the table, makes me think back to when I signed up!! You get LOADS of kit for your £119!!!!!
So last night was the first Scrapbooking class of this week and indeed of this year and the theme was BABIES!!! I have showed these layouts before but I cant resist showing Evan off one more time!

I just love how I did his name (if I do say so myself!!).

We had a couple of new people this time, one was my Mum who is making a scrapbook of my Nephew Lucas (and I have to say she really got into it) and the other new attendee was my Ross!!

I recently bought him this printed scrapbook album, yes we now sell printed albums!! Great value at £16.95 and come in 3 designs. I am encouraging him to do an album of his cricket so last night when he heard Grandma was coming he asked if he could join in! I let him but he hasnt paid me his class fee yet!!!

Here are his layouts. They are using photos from last years Cup Final, which was a local derby match. He came up with the titles and made the cricket balls etc..

And I just love how he has got into the journalling!!! He is more adventurous than me!!!

I love that we can now do this together as its not easy to get boys crafting!!
Please leave a comment for him as I know he would love to read them!!!
Bye for now
Jules xx
