Friday Catch Up and a competition

Loads to tell you today!! So beware its a long post!!!
Well its only a few days until the new catalogue, more of that later.
Here is another card using the Mr & Mrs but I have gone for a softer look for this Diamond Wedding Anniversary Card. I stamped the images in Basic Gray, a softer alternative to black and then I used the new 2 way glue pen and Dazzlin Diamonds and plenty of it!!!!
The card certainly sprarkles and I must have got the glitter all over me as 2 Mums at school commented about me having glitter on my face!!!

The card is for some good friends of my parents and my Mum was really pleased with it when she collected it this evening!

Today my big boy Ross has been on a school trip to learn about World War 2. He is really fascinated on the subject and had to dress up as an evacuee!!! He had to have a new name as most of the kids names are too modern so for today he was John Wilkinson! His teacher came up to me tonight and told me how he had really got into it, they had to do role play for the whole day and assume the role of an evacuee and she said Ross was fab!!! (must get the acting from me!!)
Here he is before school. I had to quickly make him a pretend Gas Mask box last night!!!!

Now I have a little competition for you. Can you name 3 Stampin Up items that I have used to help decorate Ross?????????? Anyone who guesses correctly will be put in a hat to win A NEW SU CATALOGUE. If you already have one I will sort something else out for you!

Tomorrow is the first of my new term of card classes after a break for the summer! I have been baking this afternoon in prepartion and we will be making a box and 4 cards using the Fresh Cuts set as shown below!

Hopefully back tomorrow with piccies from the class

Love the details of the glitter ( always good when you get it every where, means you have done it right).

  4. Hi Jules.. great photos and doesn't he look the part?

I'm guessing that the three items you've used are..

a circle punch - for the tag (1/8th?)

1 inch double stitched grosgrain ribbon (chocolate chip)

Linen thread to hold the tag on.

    Love Jo xx
