Hello Sale-A-Bration 2016

 Hello there and Good Morning! Did you watch Strictly last night? I did of course and I have to say I was a little disappointed with the whole show overall, a little bit underwhelming as finals go! Think they built it up a bit too much. Was so pleased that I got to see last years Final in the studio. On the night I thought that Kellie deserved to win but I understand why Jay won, although he was the worst on the night to be fair! 

Anyway enough about Strictly and onto another favourite topic - Sale-A-Bration! It's no secret that Sale-A-Bration and the new Spring/Summer catalogue will soon be upon us (5th January) and it's something to look forward to after Christmas. Today I am sharing a make from my crafty session with Monica on Thursday. This one combines 2 stamp sets that you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration.

 I've used a colour combo of Bermuda Bay and Old Olive and I love the new cute Bermuda Bay ribbon you can see on this project, in fact I am loving most of the new things from the catalogues!

Now I know I am tempting you with things from 5th January but there are still lots of fab things available in the Year End Sale that will be leaving us on 4th January so please don't miss out on these. I always get messages after the catalogues have finished asking for items that are no longer available, so consider this your warning!! He he!

Mum Birthday Card

 Good Morning! Sorry there was no post yesterday. I was up and off early as I travelled over to my Stampin Up "mum" Monica's house to have a day of crafting. We had such a productive and lovely day but when I got home I ended up on the sofa for the rest of the evening feeling poorly. Don't feel as bad today luckily after a good nights sleep. I usually do get poorly when I wind down at holidays and when I start to take it easy! Typical! 

Today I am sharing a card I made a couple of weeks ago for my Mother-in-Law's birthday. I decided to use some new product on the card and opted for the Love Blossoms suite which you will be seeing a lot more of in the new year.

Using a colour combo of Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride, Whisper White and a touch of Rose Red.

The card was hand delivered so I added a large bow and lots of pearls.

 I'll be sharing lots more new makes now in the run up to the new catalogue but please don't forget about the items in the Autumn/Winter catalogue that are leaving us and items that are on the Year End Sale which you can find on my ONLINE STORE and also my Online Code Club that will continue up to 30th December.

Birthday Blooms

Hey there and Happy Wednesday to you. It's Weekly Deals day which I have added to the end of this post. Yesterday I had my last Coffee and Card event of 2015. I would like to thank all the ladies who have supported me for 2015 at these sessions and of course the Mill Kitchen for allowing me to run the sessions each week. 

Yesterday I added a little display of cards from the upcoming new catalogues and this card caught a few eyes! I made this with one of the freebies from the recent Onstage Live event we attended in Brussels and I will be using this in my first Technique Class of 2016. The details are all on my Classes/Events page but just to let you know there are only 3 seats left.

I will be sharing a few watercoloring techniques and we will explore different effects with different mediums.

Included in the kit is your own stamp set AND a new Wink of Stella clear glitter brush. It's really hard to get a decent photo but I coloured all over the flower with the glitter brush. Of course it looks much nicer in real life!
