Guy Greetings

Do you like making male themed cards? Often my customers say they struggle with cards for men. At my recent Stamp a Stack event we made this card below and I have had so many comments from my customers saying that they hadn’t given this stamp set a second glance until they used it at our Stamp a Stack day!
This is such a fantastic value set and I love the old style designs that are now quite vintage/retro.
The colour combo we used was Sahara Sand, Basic Black, Early Espresso and Basic Grey and we used some of the DSP from the Stacked with Love stack. The tag was created with the Scallop Tag Topper punch and the bottom corners rounded with the Project Life corner rounder.
What do you think? Quite an easy card but quite effective too I reckon!

Movie Monday

So I had a little day off from the blog yesterday as I had a busy Saturday and a lovely family Sunday! On Saturday I was out for the afternoon and evening helping out at our local theatre companies Strictly Come Dancing event which had a Movie Theme this year. For those of you who have followed my blog for a long time, you may remember that I took part in this 5.5 years ago and this is how I got into dancing! Well this time I was one of the judges and I also selected all the music and choreographed and taught the group dance too!! The group dance consisted of some of the former contestants over the years and I had to drag my 12 year old son Evan in to dance too as we were short of fellas! It was a brilliant night and I was shattered on Sunday morning!

So that was my weekend and today I wanted to remind you that there are only 8 days of Sale-A-Bration left! As if you could really forget!! I won’t miss typing Sale-A-Bration for the next few months!! So you know we got these excellent additional items for the month of March? Well I wanted to share some cool videos that Stampin Up brought out to show them off along with some colouring techniques
I love the card demonstrated in the video below and think I will have to try this out this week. Such an easy technique but so effective.

The videos use lots of the items that are still FREE with a spend of £45 until the end of the month.

Irresistibly Yours Papers

Hello there! I had a bit of an unscheduled day off yesterday as I was looking after my little niece Mollie, aged 16 months. I had intended to do my blog whilst she sat in her highchair, really quietly, eating toast nicely and watching me! However, it didnt quite pan out that way! She has certainly found her voice and enjoyed throwing the toast everywhere!

Here I am a day late sharing the make from my workshops at Jane and Karen’s on Thursday and Friday evening. I had a lovely time at both parties sharing this card with them. I have to give a big shout out and thank you to Patty Bennett who shared her gorgeous makes HERE. Everyone LOVED the technique and the Irresistibly Yours papers were a very popular choice on the nights of the party.
The colours used are Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Strawberry Slush. This is the basic make that the ladies made.
We then have a stepped up card that I made with added products which I changed up slightly.
And here they are both together. Thank you again Patty for inspiring me and showing my customers how they can make the most of these wonderful papers.
If you have overlooked these papers they can still be yours before 31st March with a spend of £45 and remember if you order online you can use my HOSTESS CODE and take part in my Online Code Club. Details below.

Thank you to the lovely customers who have already placed orders to take advantage of my Online Hostess Code Club. There are still 2 weeks left to place an order on my Online Store (min £20) using the code  9RZYSMCW
