Last photos from Vienna

Good morning! How is the weather with you! Urrrghh its so awful here, constant rain = rubbish!!

So I am back with my last photos from Vienna from the Saturday. We actually came home on the Sunday but I didnt take many photos that day as I had started to be in pain with my neck!

On the Saturday morning we did SWAPS!! I made the Lavender Bags I showed you last week with the help of my 3 musketeers!!!! So here are some snap shots from the swapping which took place in the Hospitality room

We all gathered round in a circle and one person went around the circle and swapped. This was a great way of doing it, very organised and you didnt miss anyone out.

Shelli even swapped with us 2, 2 gorgeous 6x6 scrapbook pages. I will share all my wonderful swaps I received another day with you!

I grabbed the chance to have a quick photo with Shelli

Later in the day we watched the Gay Pride parade. This event had been happening all week and the parade was a riot of colour and people dressed up (also some a little too "undressed" if you get me)!!!

That night Jo and her friend Julie decided they had eaten so much rich food that they really fancied a pizza, so we joined them, along with Victoria and Tracy and we had a lovely pizza sat outside in the blazing sun!

Look at all that ham on Victoria's!

My gorgeous pizza

 Me and the lovely Victoria

That evening we had Goodies and Goodbyes!! OMG look at all these Goodies!! I was in dessert heaven!!!!

We mingled with everyone and said goodbyes.

Robin and I loved our trip to Vienna and I want to say a HUGE thank you to my wonderful team of Jems and my wonderful supportive customers, without whom I would not have been on the trip!!

Hope you have enjoyed my little tales of WIen!!!

Wonderful Wien - Day 3 - Part 2

Hello there and welcome to Day 3 Part 2 - this was the Friday Night gala night. We were told to dress in Cocktail wear and meet in the lobby at 6.30. Lots of horse drawn carriages awaited us on the street outside the hotel. It was an amazing sight and we felt like royalty being transported to the Museum of Fine Arts in such a manner.

Now I am really allergic to horse hair so I was a touch worried as I did not have my medication with my but the lovely Zoe (Nurfty Neuf) had her Ventolin with her so I felt reassured!!!

It was a beautiful sunny evening and such an amazing treat! Only Stampin Up could arrange all this!

When we arrived at the Museum we were greeted by footman all kitted our Cinderella style and some musicians playing in the entrance just for us. The museum was closed and just opened for us as a private function!

Me and my lovely Robin, note I had to stand on the step so I didnt look so short!!!

Here are the UK demos who earned the trip this year (minus the lovely Jenny who could not make it)

And with Shelli - this wonderful woman has changed my life!

And all the achievers and Stampin Up staff.

The Master of Ceremonies then instructed that we should make our way upstairs.

We were greeted by these lovely tables

In this wonderful part of the museum

Finishing touches were spectacular

Look at the ornate white chalkboard frame - I love it!

I dont know why but I didnt take any photos of the best part of the evening. We had a private performance from the Vienna Boys Choir. Actually I do know why - I was located right at the front, only a few feet from the boys and I was worried my big camera and flash would be too much in their face so I didnt take any photos! The young boys sang beautifully and everyone was choked up when they sang "We Are The World" at the end.

It was a beautiful evening as we made our way out, coaches were waiting for us, everything was always on time!

And look who we sat behind on the coach!!!

Wonderful Wien - Day 3 - Part 1

Good Morning - I am a little later posting today as I am in a lot of pain at the moment - more of that later!!! So today I will share with you Day 3 (Friday) but I will do it in 2 parts as I have so much to share!

During the morning we just chilled out and chatted and had a little wander to the shops! Here is the Hospitality Desk which was open throughout the day and a place where you could go have a drink and a chat with fellow demos and the Stampin' Up! staff!

You could also spin the wheel of course and win freebies every day!

We ell love freebies - right!

This is Kellee Sue who works for Stampin Up in their Special Events team. Its her job to organise all the Incentive Trips etc… and she and the other Kellie did an amazing job with the Vienna trip. Such attention to detail and meticulous planning and everything was always on time!

We went for a wander in the morning and were lucky that our hotel was very close to this wonderful building, the Opera House. See that screen to the right? Well on an evening they showed the opera that was taking place inside on that screen and there was seating. How wonderful!

So in the afternoon 13 of us decided to go on a 3 hour Segway tour of Vienna. It started off as a small group of 6 of us but as word spread we got bigger in numbers!

It was decided I should look after Frank Manou the UK mascot so here I am with him attached to my helmet!! Hold on tight Frank!

It was amazing whizzing round the city but it was also very scary as we had to cross really busy roads and tram lines, I didnt like that bit!

Every so often the tour guide - Charles - would stop and tell us a bit about the buildings, history and culture of Vienna, very very informative whilst also being fun!

We also stopped off for a drink of water and a rest

This is the last photo I have of our Segway tour as shortly after this photo (and about 2.5 hours into our trip) I fell off the Segway!!! I managed to clip a lampost as the Segway was doing something funny and I panicked! I flew of the Segway and landed on the kerb! My heroic husband Robin then jumped off his Segway to save me but proceeded to trip over his in the process!!!

The result is that I have sustained whiplash injuries and have damaged my Trapezium muscle and we think Robin cracked a rib!!!!! Would I go on one again? I am not sure at the moment as I am in so much pain but I am so glad we got to experience this!!

PLACES STILL LEFT ON THIS EVENT - WHY NOT BOOK ON AND CHEER ME AND MY POORLY NECK UP!!!!
