Cheeky Monkeys!

I made this card last week and not really happy about posting it on here as the photo isn't very good at all.
I had to take the picture inside as it was a dismal day and even though I had my lamp shining on it, it just looks rubbish!!

Anyway, a good friend asked me to make this for twin boys who were going to be 1! Well all boys are monkeys aren't they??? So I decided to use my cricut and I cut out the monkeys from the New Arrival cartridge using Stampin Up colours, Really Rust and Creamy Caramel.

The vine and the lettering were cut out from the Zooballoo cartridge in Gable Green and the background paper is SU Rainbow Sherbert.
I would have taken another photo the next day but my friend had already collected the card!!
I have recently received lots of lovely awards from Natalie, Denise and Michelle. I am sorry I haven't had time to add these awards onto my blog but I always visit your blogs and leave comments, I hope thats OK. But huge thanks for the awards, it means a lot!
Hoping to have a crafty session tonight and tomorrow night I am going round to my friend Anna's house, its a momentous occasion as she has tidied her tip of a craft room and we can both now get in there and do some crafting!!!

Mojo Monday number 69

Here is a card I have made for the Mojo Monday challenge.
The papers are Holiday Treasures but I have used the "non Christmassy" side of them!! Its great having the choice with double sided papers!!
The stamp set is of course A Rose is a Rose. I have softly stamped the small flower in the background of the circle with Pretty in Pink ink and then added the rose on top which is Regal Rose with Ruby Red over the top. Leaves have been stamped with Old Olive.
The MUM is cut out from the Alphalicious cart for the Cricut.

Whats really surprising about this card is I havent used any ribbon!!!! I tend to use ribbon a lot but thought I would leave it off. Think this one can be for my Mother in Law for Mother's Day.
Hope you like

P.S My paper share is now full, thanks to everyone who took a place. I will probably do another one in a month or so if anyone missed out!

Happy Engagement

I made this card today for a lovely young couple who got engaged yesterday, I am seeing one of them tomorrow so thought I would strike whilst the iron is hot!!!
I used my Mr & Mrs stamp set and decided to used black and white with some bling, they are quite a young and trendy couple so I figured black and white was cool!! I feel so old when I keep calling them a young couple!!!!
I have stamped the floral stamp all over to make a background and layered it with basic black cardstock. The card blank is from Craftwork Cards, I wanted to used a scalloped card
I stamped their initials and used the & sign in the middle. The initials have been stamped with Schoolboo Serif Alphabet and the & sign is from the Mr & Mrs set. Used my scallop edge punch on one of the edges and a huge diamante buckle with some polka dot ribbon.

If you look carefully I have added a couple of diamante gems to some of the flowers for a bit more sparkle!
Anyway, Congratulations Adam and Lottie, hope you like your card!
