New Product - Watercolour Pencils

One of the items I am most excited about in the new Spring/Summer Catalogue are the new Watercolour Pencils available from Wednesday 4th January. I've not been too well for the last few days so a bit of gentle colouring has been perfect to keep my creativity going whilst trying to get better.
The new pack of pencils contains 13 fabulous Stampin Up colours for £14.50. Now for the last few weeks I have shared a video on a Saturday with you but because of me being under the weather this week, something had to give! However here is a little video from Stampin Up for you, to show you all about the new pencils!
Hope you enjoy and have a great Saturday.

Another Sneak Peek!

Hello there and welcome back to my blog today. Today I have another sneak peek for you and like yesterday's card I made this one some time ago and sent it to Australia to celebrate Jane and Brian's 50th wedding anniversary a few weeks ago.
Most of the products used are current products with the exception of the papers I have used for the background and the numbers. They are from the Falling in Love suite and are the most gorgeous papers, cannot wait to share more projects with them.
The new Spring/Summer and Sale-A-Bration catalogues are live from Wednesday and my regular online customers should now be receiving their copies in the post.
If you are local to me then please contact me to arrange collection of your own copies or why not pop along to my Launch Events on Friday 13th January, I have 3 time slots available.
More information on these events can be found on my Facebook page HERE or on my Classes/Events tab on this blog.

I will be placing my last order of 2016 this evening. If you are local and would like to add to it then please do let me know or if you are wanting to take advantage of this months code then please ensure you order before 6pm. Many thanks

Lift Me Up bundle

Hi there! Well it's a huge apology from me for the very long time between blog posts. I have been enjoying festive time with my family and friends and have taken a few days off from work.

Next Wednesday sees the launch of the Spring/Summer and Sale-A-Bration (SAB) 2017 catalogues and I posted these out to my regular online customers yesterday, so please watch your letterboxes!  These catalogues are live with effect from Wednesday 4th January.
I always love the launch of these catalogues as they bring a breath of fresh air following 4 months of Christmas makes and the Sale-A-Bration freebies are always welcomed too! This is a card I made back in November for Evan's 14th birthday, not that you can tell, and it features a new bundle called Lift Me Up. Based on a hot air balloon theme its a perfect set for birthdays, love themed and other occasions. The papers used on this project are available FREE as a SAB choice from 4th January.
Did you see my blog post from last week when my lovely friend Sarah and I announced our exciting project, Mrs K's Craft Room? Well if not you can find out more about it HERE We go LIVE next week on the same day as the launch of the catalogues and this bundle is the first bundle we will be featuring on our Online Class.
I do hope you like this card and I will hopefully be back to my regular blogging.
Thank you to those of you who have used my Online Code this month. This is still open until Friday evening if you need any goodies this month.

Cute Gift Bag

Hello there and Happy Christmas Eve to you. I am back with just a short blog post today to share my latest video with you, just in case you get time to do some crafting over the festive period! I've just looked back on my blog and this bag dates back to 2011 when a member of our team Chris shared it with us at training in January 2011, so I wasn't far off with my guess of 5 or 6 years on my video! If you would like to have a go at making your own then please click on the image below to watch the video.
December's Online Code is still live and will be until 30th December. Thank you to those of you who have used it so far.
I just want to take the opportunity to wish you a very Merry Christmas in case I run out of time tomorrow!

A New Year and a fun idea!

Hello there and welcome to my blog today.
I have been so excited to share this blog post with you. Now you may or may not know about my special Australian friend, the very lovely and talented Sarah Klass who is a fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator in Perth. I first came across Sarah online through her blog and was a bit of a super fan and admit to having admired Sarah from afar! In December 2013 Sarah emailed me to ask a question about how I run my classes, a few Skypes and virtual cups of tea together later and the rest as they say is history! We immediately hit it off and I knew I had "met" a very special person through my love of rubber stamping.
Sarah and I (plus part of our families) finally met on the Stampin Up Caribbean Cruise in May 2014 and it was so lovely to finally met in person and spend time together.
Our first meeting in real life.

Over the next couple of years we talked (we are good at that) about some sort of collaboration of a Stampin Up nature but we never did anything about it, other than talking about it, and drinking more cups of tea, over Skype! Even though we also spent a gorgeous almost 2 weeks together earlier this year when Sarah came as my guest on the Stampin' Up Med Cruise, we never got round to it!
Well we have now firmly got our joint acts together, 2017 is the year and we are delighted to announce.......

MRS K'S CRAFT ROOM

Mrs K's Craft Room will be a monthly online class that you can subscribe to if you are in the UK or in Australia and you will get exclusive tutorials and ideas from both of us. These will be via both You Tube and an exclusive Facebook group. You can dip in and out each month and subscribe to it by shopping on our respective online stores and purchasing that months kit. This is not just for our "distance" or online customers, local customers can take advantage of being part of the group by attending our monthly in person Technique Classes which will feature the same projects. We are so excited to be bringing this feature to our businesses. I often get comments saying I wish I lived nearer  to you, well now you have the chance to come craft with me!

If you wish to join our Facebook Group of further information on the Online classes and details of January's class then please click HERE. The first class will go live TWO WEEKS today on 4th January 2017.

I hope you are as excited by this project as we are, and we look forward to welcoming you to our Craft Room (cup of tea compulsory!)

Quick & Easy Gift Card Holder

Good Morning! It's that time of year where we think about packaging our gifts and making something pretty to house gift cards or money. Today's blog is a little make from Tuesday Club a while back and it's really easy to replicate the basic design.
Please note the measurements are in metric and we start with a piece of A5 card which is 21cm x 14.8cm. Score on the longest side (21cm) at 8cm and 16cm and then simply fold the 5cm end up and add a little glue at each side to create the pocket inside.
Then go ahead and decorate as desired! An easy design to replicate numerous times.
Back tomorrow with another video to share with you!

Botanical Blooms

Good Morning. It's a bit of a later post from me today. Last night was our last Tuesday evening class of 2016 and we had a little soiree at the studio with everyone bringing a little something to eat. The Christmas tunes were on and we made a couple of cards with sneak peek products from the Spring/Summer catalogue. I just worked out that this is the 7th Christmas Soiree we have had for Tuesday Club as I have been running the classes since January 2010! Some of my original ladies are still with me which is just lovely.

Today I am sharing a card I made for one of the guys in the unit next door to mine to give to his wife for their anniversary. He wanted a larger card so this is A5 in size and I used the Botanical Blooms stamps and dies which hadn't seen the light of day for a good while!
The flowers were all rolled out on the Big Shot from white card and then were simply sponged with the ink pads and stamping sponges.
I am happy to report that his wife was very pleased with the card and he scored a few brownie points! Since this he has asked me to make her Birthday card which I will share another day with you.
Hope you like today's make, something a little different from all the Christmas makes.
