Awesomely Artistic

Hello there! Today I am starting to share a few cards with you with the Awesomely Artistic stamp set which we used for our Technique Club last Saturday. I think this is one of those sets that people look at and think “What would I do with that”! So...... this week I am going to share with you what you can make with it!

Here is the warm up card we made on Saturday with a colour combo of Perfect Plum, Mossy Meadow and Whisper White. The ribbon is actually Blackberry Bliss but it’s quite muted so I thought it actually matched rather well!
I am LOVING the Brick Wall embossing folder, it’s been a very popular seller this month. I embossed it and then rubbed over it with a sponge daubed with Sahara Sand ink. I love the vintage effect that gives.
I love the new little wooden embellishments, adds great texture to the card.
Hope you like this one, I will share the other 2 tomorrow and Thursday.

I have now closed the June Code Club order but will be opening another one tomorrow on 1st July. Watch out tomorrow, apparently there are to be some new items added to the Clearance Rack and also some enhanced Weekly Deals too!

You’ve Got This

Hello there! As promised I am back with my crafty makes now this week. Thank you for your comments and emails about our Madeira trip, I’m looking forward to doing some Project Life on it!

So here is a card I made for my display table to showcase the You’ve Got This stamp set. It’s been a popular seller for me this month, people seem to love the “scratchy” background.
It’s the same as the Sheltering Tree card I did HERE and to be honest I already had the base of the card made as it was one I demonstrated at my class so I just added the stamped panels.
Please don’t be put off by the card, its not as hard as it looks and my team member Amanda has a wonderful tutorial for it. You can see it by clicking on the HERE earlier in my post.
Right that’s me off for the day, lots of clearing up to do from this weekends classes. Had a lovely family day yesterday and just left it all in my craft room!

LAST DAY FOR MY ONLINE CODE CLUB TODAY - WILL BE CLOSING THE ORDER AT 8PM.
I have generated a Hostess Code for the month of June which I will be closing on 29th June. Please use code 6VFVG2ZM when checking out on my Online Store if you order is over £25 but under £150. During July I will be sending you a little gift in the post to say thank you.

Marvellous Madeira - Part 4

Hello there! I will try to cram in the last action packed day of our Madeira Trip. Warning, there could be a lot of photos! I had been looking forward to the Saturday as I had arranged a trip for 5 of us with Up Mountain Jeep Tours who were FAB! Nicolau was our guide and driver and he was just brilliant!
 Jeep Selfie - minus Tom!
If you like views and a little bit of adrenalin then this is the tour for you!
Think I would like that house, crafting on the balcony would be amazing!
Some of the roads we went up were very steep!
But my favourite part was the off roading! I loved it and felt like I was in a Jurassic Park movie!
We stood up in the back of the Jeep for most of the tour, just sitting down when we were on the main roads.
We were dropped at a popular spot near the end of the tour and you could walk on this glass bottomed viewing platform! I walked VERY quickly across it!
After getting dropped back off at the hotel we chilled out and got ready for our final night dinner at a lovely fish restaurant with a lovely view over the harbour.
More selfies, just for a change!
We then headed back to the hotel to watch a firework display that the town of Funchal host every Saturday in June. I enjoyed the view of all the buildings lit up, there was quite a special feeling being up there.
We then headed to a local bar to socialise and I loved spending time with new friends! Here I am with Fanny from Austria, lovely lovely girl!
Thank you Stampin Up for a lovely trip and thank you to you for continuing to support me. I’m back with the normal crafty posts tomorrow!
I have generated a Hostess Code for the month of June which I will be closing on 29th June. Please use code 6VFVG2ZM when checking out on my Online Store if you order is over £25 but under £150. During July I will be sending you a little gift in the post to say thank you.

Marvellous Madeira - Part 3

Hello there! Apologies for the lack of blog yesterday, it was a Mollie-Day! I had my little niece for the morning and boy did I know about it. No chance to do anything else whatsoever!

Today I am back with tales from the Friday of our trip. This was an organised trip by Stampin Up and we were shuttled onto 2 catamaran’s to go and watch the dolphins in the sea. I have to say, I LOVE dolphins and was really looking forward to this! Here is a harbour selfie with some of the gang!
And our catamaran for the morning.
Now those of you who know me, know that I am a bit of a wuss when it comes to many things but I was straight on the nets at the front of the vessel. I think I was on them before it had even left the harbour - first one on!
Here I am with Tom, Sarah Berry’s lovely hubby who we nicknamed Trivia Tom, and also my annoying little brother!
Now take a look at these 2 photos. Here we are, Sarah, Monica and me all posing nicely and then look at the next one - do you think someone said something rude?
 Ha ha!
The next 2 photos were taken by Simon Last and I pinched them as I just thought they were so so beautiful. I say pinched, but lovely Caro from the Netherlands airdropped them to me - wow that was a first!
I just loved being out on the sea so close to the water and I enjoyed the chat and banter we had on the nets, an amazing time.
Once back in the harbour we walked to a local fish restaurant for lunch.
Late afternoon Jane and I walked into the town centre for a bit of exercise. Here is the Christiano Ronaldo statue, he was born in Madeira but I think this looks nothing like him!
That evening I had a date with my fellow Project Life fan, Constanze from Germany. We also mety up with Nadine and even Sara Douglass the interim CEO of Stampin Up came to look for us and joined us!
Tomorrow I will be back with the last lot of info from the trip and then on Monday I will be back to sharing crafty makes! Hooray I hear you say. Hope you have enjoyed details of our trip so far?

I have generated a Hostess Code for the month of June which I will be closing on 29th June. Please use code 6VFVG2ZM when checking out on my Online Store if you order is over £25 but under £150. During July I will be sending you a little gift in the post to say thank you.

Marvellous Madeira - Part 2

Hello there! I am back this morning with more tales from our travels. On the Thursday we had free time so our lovely business manager Paula arranged a trip in a mini bus to Nuns Valley with a few stops along the way. We saw some gorgeous sights and some of the drops were not for the faint hearted. This was our first stop, I think they called this tree the Mushroom Tree.
I have had a few comments on my hat! Thanks - I love it, its very Stampin Up don’t you think?
Just some of the amazing views from the trip.
Don’t look down!
We really were above the clouds at one point!
In the afternoon we had free time so we had a gorgeous salad for lunch at the pool bar area......

.... and then the obligatory sunbathing. This was the only real sunbathing I did on the whole trip, I get ants in my pants, can’t sit still for long enough!
In the evening we had our obligatory too selfie before we went out and we attended the Swapping Event where I received some gorgeous swaps from fellow European demonstrators. My ladies have been enjoying looking at them this week.
After the swapping event we went to the most gorgeous restaurant and had a wonderful meal. I had the Beef Medallions and it was all just beautiful. Would highly recommend Casal Da Penha if you are in Funchal. The restaurant was full of Yorkshire people, it was quite amusing when they heard my accent!!
Back with more tales tomorrow!

I have generated a Hostess Code for the month of June which I will be closing on 30th June. Please use code 6VFVG2ZM when checking out on my Online Store if you order is over £20 but under £150. During July I will be sending you a little gift in the post to say thank you.
