Flower Patch for Stamp a Stack

Well I was back to my Stamp a Stack on Friday night after having a couple of months off. It was lovely to see my ladies again and we had a new member - Lindsey - who was thrown in at the deep end and made 12 cards in 3 hours!

This is one of the cards we made on the night, the girls all made 2 of these. This one was probably the most time consuming due to the double stamping and then rolling out on the Big Shot, but it was also my second fave of the night! I'll show you my fave tomorrow!
I have used a Crumb Cake card blank with some Typeset papers and then the colours for the stamping are Pool Party, Island Indigo, Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Pear Pizazz and Old Olive.
Now that we have the photopolymer stamps it makes lining these up so easy and there was no use of the Stamp a ma Jig on this card!!! My poor little jig has been a little redundant at the moment.
Right that's me done for today!
Please make sure you check back tomorrow as we have a JOINING OFFER and also a SPENDING OFFER coming up!

Paper Haven Retreat - Day Three - Last project

Hello there! I didn't blog yesterday as I had a whole day off from Stampin Up (well apart from sending a couple of emails last night!) to spend time with my family. In the morning Evan and I went to his dance class and lesson that had been moved to Sunday for this week and then in the afternoon we went to watch Billy Elliot live from the Victoria Palace, London which was streamed at our local cinema. It was amazing! I have never seen the stage production and thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon out. Was even better when we arrived home to a Sunday Lunch!!

So I am back today with the last project from my retreat. Unfortunately the Advent Calendar frame took longer than I anticipated so we didn't get this project finished, although the ladies stamped their letters and made a start on it.
We used the same papers as the Advent Frame and the Lost Lagoon ribbon.
The alphabet is the Epic Alphabet.
I loved my retreat and yes the ladies want another one so I have booked dates for next year. 11th - 13th September 2015. This group of ladies we have are so special and a great bunch of gals to spend the weekend with! I love how they all got on and helped each other.
Before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye and begin the clearing up process! Luckily Mr K came and picked me up in his car and helped me load and unload!
Hope to see some more new faces next year. Better get my thinking cap on for the projects!

Paper Haven Retreat Day Three - Project One

Hello there! Did you watch Strictly last night? I watched at 10.30 when I got back from my Stamp a Stack and really enjoyed it. Nice lie in this morning followed by my Scrapbook and Technique Club this afternoon, then more Strictly and feet up time!

So I am back with my favourite project of the whole retreat. I cannot claim credit for the basic idea of this as I saw it somewhere on a Facebook page last year using non-Stampin Up products and I must have stored it at the back of my mind somewhere. When I saw Stampin Up had these little boxes as part of our new Christmas range I knew immediately I had to make one similar with Stampin Up products.
This project was a labour of love and took my ladies around 5 hours to make. It's not difficult, it's just time consuming and repetitive but I hope you will agree the outcome is fab! The frame is from IKEA and its 50cm x 50cm so its a big feature for your Christmas display! I cannot wait to fill mine with chocs and little gifts.
I loved seeing all of these once my ladies had finished them. Some of them left the Happy Christmas off to die cut it at home instead.
Didn't they all do well!

If you would like to make this project then we will be making this at my All Day Christmas Retreat on Saturday 15th November and I have 5 places left for this event. The cost is £89 for the full day from 10am - 9pm and you can find all the details on my Classes/Events page.
