Wedding Photo Album

Good morning (just). I am recovering from the lovely wedding we attended yesterday. I wasnt drinking as I was chauffeur but it was very tiring so we all had a nice long lie in this morning and we are going to have a lazy day today

The wedding was my dance teacher Tim's wedding and he had a friend doing the wedding photography and I think they are getting their photos on a disc only so I decided to make them a photo album to match with their colour theme and invitations.

I bought a plain cream album and decorated it Stampin Up style.

More spiral flowers were added and I used my new Lovely Letters Alphabet for the O, W and D on the front.

Here is the album and the card together. I really hope they like this personal gift!

Hoping to get my video done today and uploaded tomorrow!!!

Wedding Card

Hello there. Its Saturday apparently!! I am all mixed up with my days!!!!!

Here is a card I have been making for a couple of days! I say a couple of days because I made 15 Spiral flowers for the card and the matching gift - which I will show you tomorrow.

The colour combo on this card is Perfect Plum and Very Vanilla. The stamp sets used were Apothecary Art and Curly Cute.

I love making these flowers, they are time consuming but I think they look great. I will upload a video on how I make them in the next couple of days.

Lots of pearls used in this card too with some Perfect Plum taffeta ribbon (which the bride and groom used on their wedding stationery)

The bird punch was used to add leaves to the card.

Hope you like it and I hope the Bride and Groom do too!

Christmas card with Owl punch!

Hi there and welcome to my blog today! Only a quick post this morning as I have loads to do and I also need some time in my craft room to create more projects to share with you!

Do you remember these swaps from our training back in July that I made? Well I had a couple left and I needed to make a card for my Mum and Dad from the boys.

I therefore added the card to the front of a card black and then stamped the wording and added some ribbon in Cherry Cobbler.

The Owl Punch is still a really popular punch and this card shows you that you can make it into a penguin too!!!

Right I must dash as I have a wedding card and project to finish but I will be back tomorrow to share them with you and I may even have a video for you if I can persuade someone to film it for me!!!

Team Congratulations Gifts

Hi there and a warm welcome to my blog today!!! Hope you all had a lovely Boxing Day. We had my Mum and Dad round for tea - thought I would mention it as they are always reading my blog now and referencing things they read on here!!!

Just a little project to share with you today, a little way of making a stamp set look all pretty and nice. This was a reward for one of my lovely team members Caroline for getting a recent promotion! I like to reward my team when they achieve leadership promotions and Caroline went to Bronze 3 in December! If you would like more info on being a member of our team, just drop me a line!

I added a band of DSP and then my beloved Crumb Cake Seam Binding - think I need a new reel of this as its had a lot of action lately! I then added some Framelits and the sentiment is from Friendly Phrases.

The little flower is made from wetting and scrunching up 4 small scallop circles and then sticking them all together. They were then sprayed with some shimmer spray!

Caroline - enjoy your new stamp set and a huge well done to you again!

Cute little frames!

Hello there and Happy Boxing Day! I hope you had a lovely day with your families and friends yesterday? Ours was a quiet day but that was fine, very relaxed and lazy really!!!!!

I wanted to get a little something for my friends Jane, Ciara and Ginnette and I saw these frames in a shop a couple of weeks ago. I liked them a lot but thought they needed a little bit of Stampin Up attention.

So I spent a lovely couple of hours curling spiral flowers and cutting out leaves whilst watching some catch up TV in my craft room and I spruced them up a little bit!

The flowers were made in Marina Mist and Baja Breeze and I think they are a great match for the frames, along with some leaves from the Bird Punch in Wild Wasabi!

The present may only be a small token but it was "upgraded" with love and a little crafty addition!!!!!!

Hope you like them!

To my lovely ladies who received Stampin Up gifts for Christmas - I hope you were happy with your Wish List goodies!!!!!

All about the packaging!!!!

Good morning! OOOOoooo its Christmas Eve!!! Everyone keeps saying "Are you all ready for Christmas?" I'm as ready as I will ever be and quite laid back about the whole thing - no point getting stressed out! We only have us 4 on Christmas day so its a very stress free affair!!!

Back to crafting - I always buy the girls and fellas who dance with Evan a little something from him for Christmas. Some of these girls are 14 and 15 and give their time up before their own lessons every Saturday to come and dance with all the younger pupils, so its just a little choccie something to say thank you!

Of course, it is all about the packaging and I made these Elf gift tags this year and tied the parcels up with retired satin ribbon

The girls had red ones and the boys had blue ones!!!!

They all seemed really surprised at the cute elves and commented that at least this year they could open the pressie without damaging the items I had made. I think last year I made it pretty impossible!!!

Hope you have an enjoyable Christmas Eve!!

Team Congratulations cards

Hello there! Did you miss me yesterday? I was partying most of the day! My son had his Christmas party at the dance school and then last night it was the Adults turn and we partied at a local hotel and I stayed over with my friend Ellie as it was such a great deal to stay over - and so much easier!!!!

December has been a brilliant month for my team and they have done really well with promotions! I am so proud of them all and of course I had to make a card to send with their Reward present from me for achieving their promotion!

There are some new products on this card! Can you guess how many new things???? I may do a prize for the winner!!!!!! Non-demonstrators only!!

The colour combo is Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango and Island Indigo.

I love the little scissors stamp, the perfect stamp for a crafter!!!

Sorry for the short and sweet post today I'm afraid!

Stampin Sound Christmas card

Hi there! Something a little bit different for you today!!! I have had a fantastic year of dancing and whilst a lot of it is down to my hard work I also would not have achieved the things I have without my wonderful and completely bonkers dance partner Paul!!! I wanted to make him a special "cuttin n' stickin" Christmas card but also make it into a thank you card!!

I used the Stampin Sound card and recorded something inside!

The papers are from the Festival of Prints stack and I have used the Scentsational Season Christmas tree with the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes!

Paul's name has been stamped with the Morning Post Alphabet

And my fave Crumb Cake Seam Binding to finish it off!!!

I will let you see the rest of it on this short video!!

Paul loved the card, said it was the bestest one he has ever received!! (I should think so!!)

 Back tomorrow

I still had the Fan Fair papers on my desk from last weeks class so I decided to use those. The ribbon is Crumb Cake Seam binding and I used the Apothecary Accents framelit dies and the Memorable Moments stamp set.

I also made some spiral flowers using the circle punches and added some Pearls to the centre.

The ever useful Elegant Butterfly punch was also used to finish the card off

Christmas Crafting

Hello there! I am a bit late posting as I have been sorting pressies and jobs like that, trying to get all sorted so there isnt a mad panic!!!!

On a Saturday morning I take my son Evan to his dance classes! We are there 2.5 hours so I usually take something to do as I cannot sit still for that length of time.

I have a lot of cards to make so I got to work!

I kept it very simple and managed to make quite a few.

I love the Greeting Card Kids stamp set and the Northern FLurry folder so I teamed it with the Petite Pairs sentiment for a quick make!

I glittered some but did have a bit of a disaster with some not drying quickly enough before dancing was over!!!!!

Thats all for today!

40th Birthday Gift Voucher wallet

Good morning to you!!! I have been holding off sharing this project with you as I wasnt sure when the lovely recipient would be receiving it but I have been informed it is now in her possession so I am safe to share!! This wallet contained a voucher for a lovely customer of mine. One of her friends contacted me to arrange it all for her 40th birthday this weekend!

I know Sara loves the Memorable Moments stamp set because she has just purchased it herself from me!!!!! I went for a colour combo if Pool Party, Chocolate Chip and the Natural Composition papers that I think are nearest to Soft Suede in colour.

I used the gorgeous Papillon Potpourri stamp set with the co-ordinating punch, you can't go wrong with this combo for a girly birthday really!!!

I love the embossed look on the Natural Composition papers, they are stunning and one of my most favourite things in the whole catalogue!!

If you would like to come to my class using these papers I am holding my first class for 2013 on Saturday 12th January - all details below

Snowflake Soiree

Hi there!! Well its only a week to go and I am still writing and making a few more Christmas cards!! It seems to be never ending!!!

Here is a make that I realised I hadnt shared with you yet! It was from our Stamp a Stack at the end of November and uses the lovely Snowflake Soiree stamp set! I dont own this set but I borrowed it from my lovely friend and downline Ginnette.

The colour combo is Soft Suede, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake.

Very simple card which you could make lots of in one sitting. You cannot see very well but I sprayed it all over with Champagne Mist Shimmer paint mixed with rubbing alcohol! It looked lush!!

Right I am off back to nurse Evan who is off school poorly today! Bit of TLC and a movie should do the trick!

A little Christmas gift wrap!

Hello there - I am a bit late posting today as I have been nursing a poorly son and also looking after my Nephew overnight!!

I have been offering a Christmas Wish List service this year, as usual and I have played Santa for some lovely people this year! I don't think their families can believe how easy it is!! Then when I told them I gift wrapped for them - they were made up!!!

Here are a few of the pressies I have been wrapping this week!

I used brown paper and stamped on it with the Scentsational Season stamp set. I then tied them up with Bakers Twine and slipped a gift tag in for them to write on. I was really pleased with how these turned out! I hope the recipients like them too!

My last order for Christmas goes in this evening so if you have left it too late do not fear - I can also supply you with a Gift Certificate in any choice of denominations!!!! This comes supplied in a handmade wallet and posted out to you for £1 or collection is free.

Thats all for now folks! Hopefully back tomorrow!

Production Line

Good morning! I cant believe another weekend has come around and we are getting so near to Christmas! I have impressed myself this year and have managed to send out most of my cards in the post, just a few more to send but the bulk has been done!!

Here are a small group of the 40-something I made of this design, I did a lot of these whilst watching one of my favourite programmes at the moment - Homeland!! Only 2 episodes left!!!

I love the look of these little cards but I did begin to regret how much effort it takes to make all those little trees!!!!

It was a good way to use up my Snow Festival papers though - I must admit!
