Last day of the current catalogue!

Hello there and good afternoon! I am late posting today as I made myself do the whole of the ironing before I did my blog, so here I am 2 hours later!!

This card is similar to one you may have seen before, I just changed the sentiment and used Petite Pairs. The mitten punch is from the Seasonal Catalogue but I have combined this with the snowflake from Jolly Bingo Bits, which is available to order from tomorrow!!! Eeek!!!

I used the Labels Framelits which temporarily left us for a month but you will be pleased to know they are back in the "big book" from tomorrow! I am so excited about this new catalogue, it really is the best ever and 70 extra pages!!!!!!

The colour combo on this card is Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla, lots of inking with the Crumb Cake gives the card its vintage look!

If you would like to get your mitts (see what I did there!!) on any of these products (and more!) then please don't hesitate to get in touch with me at the email address at the top of my blog! I would be only too happy to place an order for you!!

Have a fab Sunday

I love my Stamp a Stacks!!

Last night I was lucky enough to be joined by 17 of the loveliest ladies at my monthly Stamp a Stack event! They all made 12 cards each in the 3 hour session and we were spoilt with Elaine's lovely cakes that she kindly baked for us all!!!

Here is one of my favourite cards from the night. This was a joint design between myself and my lovely downline Sally Jo! It uses the Jolly Bingo Bits set from the NEW (comes out on Monday) catalogue. To get the effect of the arc of flowers we drew round my finest saucer with a pencil, stamped the little flowers and then rubbed the pencil marks out!

The colour combo on this card is Baja Breeze with Very Vanilla, the sentiment  (from Delightful Dozen) is stamped in Chocolate Chip. All edges were inked with Crumb Cake ink

Some of the flowers were then cut out and added to the banner, with a little bit of Dazzling Details finishing it off!

Thanks for looking. Our next Stamp a Stack is Friday 26th October if you are interested in coming along!

Off to take my boy to dancing now!!

Keeeep stamping!

Last of the Tuesday makes!

Hello there, I am posting bright and breezy this morning!! I'm looking forward to my Stamp a Stack tonight as I have 17 crafters joining me to make 12 cards each!!!!! I am all prepped and raring to go!

Here is the last card from Tuesday evening. The photos are a bit blurred as they are taken on my phone as I cannot find the charger for the camera battery!!!!

This was my favourite card of the evening! I have been wanting to feature one of these bows since watching a US demos video so I decided to go for it and add one in Cherry Cobbler! I just love the look of it!

The paper is from the Be of Good Cheer set and the tree from Scentsational Season stamped in Gumball Green! The sentiment is from Delightful Dozen, stamped in a new In Colour - Primrose Petals and rolled out on the Big Shot with the new Apothecary Accent Framelits

A couple of arty farty angles for you! I only have one Bronze button left now! Must rectify that immediately!!

And here are all 3 cards together!

Right thats me off, busy busy day today and a busy evening too!!!

See you tomorrow

More from Tuesday!

Oh dear I got up a bit late again this morning! I went to see my lovely friend (and dance partner) Paul in Guys and Dolls at the theatre with my friend Jane! I had forgotten just how much I love the music from Guys and Dolls, bit of a classic really! It was a fab show and Paul was amazing!

Back to cards and here is the second card from Tuesday night using some products from the Seasonal catalogue and some from the new Catalogue released on Monday (4 more sleeps!)

The border stamp is from Chock Full of Cheer and the sentiment is too. The Gingerbread men are from Scentsational Season stamp set (which I cannot stop using!)

The papers are from the new catalogue and I love how they match the stamp. Have to say being a "green freak" I am loving our new In Colour GUMBALL GREEN. I even let the ladies loose on my Gumball Green stitched ribbon!

I'll be back tomorrow with the last of the 3 cards but for now I am taking Evan to school and then finishing preps for tomorrow nights Stamp a Stack!! It's going to be a big one!!

Tuesday Club make

Good morning! It looks like another miserable one out there today!!! Perfect excuse to stay inside and craft I think!!!

Last night was the Tuesday Club that I run and we were joined by a new member, Stacey! Hi Stacey!!!! We made 3 cards with a mixture of things from the upcoming new Catalogue which is live on Monday and the currently live Seasonal!!

The colour scheme of Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla was in order last night as we used the Be of Good Cheer papers which I have to say I am loving! This card uses the Chock full of Cheer stamp set and the bauble is stamped and then punched out with the 1 3/4 circle punch.

The bauble is then stamped again in Cherry Cobbler and the centre is punched out with the 3/4 circle punch and a large pearl added. The top of the bauble is a seperate stamp which we stamped in Soft Suede and then cut out.

Some Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon and a sentiment stamped in Gumball Green from Teeny Tiny Wishes, punched out with the Word Window punch and then layered onto a Gumball Green punched out Modern Label!.

I'll share the other 2 cards with you over the next couple of days!!

Take care now!

Something new!

Hello there! I am a little late posting this morning! I'm blaming the dark mornings that seem to be creeping up on us!!

I'm back with a card featuring items from the new Catalogue that is out NEXT MONDAY!!! Can't believe its nearly here! You are not going to be disappointed!!! Its HUGE!!!!

So here is a card I made using some of the new stash mixed with some old favourites!!! The stamp set is called Betsy's Blossoms and I was so lucky to earn this completely FREE (along with the papers, some ribbon, a wheel and some marker pens) for being a certain level within the Stampin Up career plan! I love that we can get things free or discounted! If this sounds like something you would love too, why not drop me a line?

So back to the card, the papers are called Floral District and have some lovely designs in them. I have paired them with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder from the Seasonal Catalogue in Daffodil Delight.

The sentiment is from my every trusty Petite Pairs stamp set, don't know what I did for sentiments before this came out, I seem to turn to it all the time!
If you are in the area of West Yorkshire I am holding a Launch Event for the new Catalogue on Saturday 6th October at 3pm.

I will be selling lots of my "pre-loved" stamp sets and you can make a card with items from the new Catalogue, browse my samples, have a cuppa and place your new catalogue orders.

I will also be "raffling" off the Hostess Benefits earned that afternoon in a Mystery Hostess event!!

Please mail me for more information or to book your place at this fab event!

Scentsational Season! Love it!

Well its the start of another week and I have lots of work on this week as my classes and workshops kick in for the new catalogue and the seasonal catalogue.

I held a workshop at my house last week and we made this card which I cased from Pinterest. The Framelit has been cut from the piece of Crumb Cake card (please note the Framelits are not back in the catalogue until 1st October - but they are back then!)

The colour combo is Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and a tiny bit of Baja Breeze. The card itself was a simple make as I had some new crafters at my event. The gingerbread man was stamped in Soft Suede and then rolled out on the Big Shot as well as some little stars too which we randomly used for decoration!

I always like to share an upgraded version with my ladies and show them how their card can look totally different with some added extras!!!!

I have used the gorgeous Bronze Buttons, some Rhinestones and some paper behind the Gingerbread man. I also added some Bakers Twine in Early Espresso! Watch out for the new catalogue!

I was so impressed with all the ladies at my workshop, they all managed the card fine and some of them just had to have this stamp set too!!

Right I must be off, things to do etc…..

Modern Christmas

Happy Sunday to you! Today is my ironing and tidying morning!!

Today I am sharing a card with you that I made "just for the fun of it"! It wasn't for a class or anything in particular, I just enjoyed coming up with a card having been inspired by a similar card on Pinterest.

The pink colour is the new Primrose Petals and has been joined by another new colour Gumball Green. The stamp set used is the Scentsational Season set with a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

I also made a matching gift tag whilst I had all the stuff out. I love this Two Tags die.

Both projects together!

I hope you like this simple make today! If you would like to order any of the products seen then I would be happy to order them for you and have them shipped direct to your door!

I'll be back tomorrow

Walking in a Winter Wonderland!

Good morning! I have enjoyed a little lie in this morning and will shortly be going to dancing with Evan! Leaving the "big boys' home to do some chores (here's hoping!)

Last week I borrowed a stamp set off my friend and downline Ciara, while she was away. Its called Winter Wonderland and its a great set if you like a bit of colouring in!

I wanted to keep this set of cards quite simple and also co-ordinated, so I used the same piece of paper from the Festival of Prints DSP stack on all 3 cards along with the same sentiment from Curly Cute.

The colours used on all the cards are Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Raspberry Ripple.

Each card also had some Dazzlin Diamonds glitter on it which you can hopefully see on this card

This one is my favourite! I love the image of the little girl sharing her hot chocolate!

And all 3 cards together.

I hope you like this set. I could come along to your home or craft group and run this class as a private class for you and your friends (subject to a minimum of 6) for a set fee per head. Please do contact me for more details.

See you tomorrow

P.S Thanks Ciara for letting me look after your stamp set! x

Calendar Girls

Hello there! I am a little late posting today after a later night last night as I went to see some friends and fellow theatre company members in a production of Calendar Girls. Some of my fellow Full Monty friends were in the show and it was fantastic. I laughed so loud, what a tonic!!

Anyway I made them a card and left it with someone who was selling programmes so I hope they got it OK.

This card is made with some retiring product and also something new from the upcoming Annual Catalogue on 1st October!

For those of you who know the stage production of Calendar Girls, sunflowers play a very important role in the play so they had to be on the card. I made them using the Flower Daisies 2 die which is on the retirement list at the moment. Its reduced to £12.71 so its a great bargain for 3 different sized flowers. Please contact me if you would like to order it, order going in this evening!

The background paper is from the Neutrals DSP stack and is Crumb Cake, mixed with Daffodil Delight. The centres of the sunflowers were made using some Early Espresso card, punched out with a 3/4 inch punch and then I ran them through the square lattice embossing folder.

The gorgeous numbers are a sneak peek from a new stamp set called Memorable Moments, which I LOVE!!!!! The ribbon is also new!! Yummy!

Hope you like it and hope the Calendar Girls did too!

Last of the Stamp A Stack All Dayers!

I am sharing 2 cards with you today, suppose you could say its double trouble! Thought I would share the last 2 cards from the All Day Stamp a Stack.

This card is CASED from the Seasonal Catalogue. I love that we have lots of ideas in our catalogues. I firmly believe that it is usually the deciding what to do that takes longer than the actual making, so I love that there are plenty of suggestions and ideas.

This card uses the new Holiday Frame embossing folder which we embossed in Whisper White and combined it with Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green with the Sentiment stamped in Early Espresso

A very simple make but lovely all the same I think!

Something completely different next! I love this little owl from the Owl Occasions stamp set and I have combined it with the Woodgrain embossing folder, going to be popular for male cards!

I have also used the new Window Frames framelits and used some more Gumball Green! Did I tell you that the new In Colours are available NOW in cardstock, ink pads and refills!!

Right must dash, I am busy making all my cards for my next Stamp a Stack which is Friday 28th September in Pudsey!! Had LOADS of interest this month - there must be a new catalogue coming out or something!!! If you want to come along please message me asap
