Last 2 Stamp a Stackers!

Good morning!! I am back at my usual time today - hooray!! No internet probs this morning!!

Here are the last set of cards from the Stamp a Stack

The first one uses the Spiced Paisley Stamp set and we have used colours of Pear Pizazz, More Mustard, Pool Party and Soft Suede.

The sentiment is from the Hostess set Happiest Birthday Wishes and I have layered it up with teh 2 scallop circle punches.

The last set of cards is very similar to one I have already made for our Team Training Day, this one is just slightly bigger.

I used the Everyday Enchantment papers that you can get free with every order of £45 and the sentiment is from Petite Pairs.

A few little touches to make it more interesting!

Well its another busy day for me! I am going to take Ross to the orthodontist as he is getting braces and then this evening I have a date with Jason Donovan and a few others at Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour!!!!!

2nd lot of Stamp a Stack cards

Hello there

Its been a very frustrating day today as I have had no internet all day, despite unplugging and rebooting the routers!! Then my 9 year old son Evan came home from school and I jokingly said to him "Go fix the routers for Mum please" and blow me - he has done!!!!

So here I am a little bit later but with 2 more cards from my Stamp a Stack on Friday.

First up is a cupcake card with the Create a Cupcake stamp set and also the Pennant Parade stamp set and punch. I know a couple of my new ladies fell in love with this!

It uses most of the In Colours, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade and Wisteria Wonder, with a little bit of Pink Pirouette
I love the stitched effect on the bunting!

And here are 2 more, this time with the Perfect Postage stamp set and the matching postage stamp punch. Excellent value and do you know, you could get the stamp set and the matching punch for only £23.20 (in clear) and £25.20 (in wood)

Colour Combo on this card is Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo and Pool Party

Right I must go start the tea!!!

It wont be long before I am back with my next post and I am hoping this time it will be at my usual morning time!!

Stamp a Stack cards

Good Morning!!

Here I am bright and breezy for you today!! Today is my "jobs" day! We like to chill out on a Sunday but I also have to take Evan to get new school shoes at some point too, aswell as fit in my dance lesson and my usual chores!!

I am sharing 2 card designs from my Stamp a Stack on Friday. Both the designs were CASED from 2 of my talented and lovely downline. I am honestly so lucky to have such a great bunch of girls, not only are they a constant source of inspiration to me but also to each other - and I love that about Stampin Up!!

So first up this is a CASE of ANGELA's card

I fell in love with this card when Angela showed me it earlier on in the week, just love it!! Problem was I had already used the sentiment Angela used on another of my Stamp a Stack cards so I had to change the sentiment!!

This one is from You Are Loved stamp set! The stamp set I have used for most of the card is the Fresh Vintage set that you can get FREE with a spend of £45!!

Inside I have also used the Everyday Enchantment papers, they are so scrummy!

Next up is a CASED card from the effervescent SALLY JO. I love Sally's style of cards and she wowed us yet again with her fabulous makes at our recent training!

This is a complete CASE again except for part of the sentiment. I have used the You Are Loved stamp set and also the Borderlines stamp set which I convinced myself I didnt "need"!! Until I saw Sally Jo's card!! You see us Demonstrators are just the same, we see things and "have to have it" too!!

Colours on this one are Soft Suede, Pool Party, More Mustard and Very Vanilla.

I hope you like todays makes, I will be back with 2 more cards tomorrow!

You Are Loved Anniversary

Hi there

Sorry I am a little late posting today, I have been at dancing with Evan most of the morning.

This is a card I totally cased from a wonderful US blog - the demonstrator is called Sandi MacIver and her card is here

I just fell in love with Sandi's card and although we dont yet have all the product Sandi used I have made my own version for my Mum and Dads anniversary last week

I have used the You are Loved set again, this set was very popular at my Stamp a Stack last night (which by the way was fab and thank you to the lovely ladies who came). I have used a colour combo of Regal Rose, Very Vanilla and Old Olive. I have to say my poor Old Olive has been a bit of a poor relation recently as I have been reaching for the Lucky Limeade as an alternative!!!!
I love this card and I am going to have to ask for it back next week (to be fair they usually give me my cards back so I can use them for displays, my Mum isnt really fussed for keeping things like that so it suits me).

Hope you like my card, please leave a comment if you do and I will be back tomorrow to show you one of the Stamp a Stack cards - or maybe even two!

More Valentines

Thank you for all your lovely comments yesterday.

Here is another Valentine card which I CASED from the same magazine. This one was designed by Teri Poocock a fellow demonstrator - thank you for your tutorial Teri. My ladies loved making this card, even though I gave them one of the instructions wrong and lets just say their designs were more "bespoke"!!!

I have used the same colour combo but added a touch of Pear Pizazz.

This is the card folded flat. It used the You Are Loved stamp set and the Top Note Die
We decorated inside and added a touch of the popular Glimmer Paper (which is more like card) for that extra sparkle!

The sentiment is from Petite Pairs

Hope you like todays make, love to read your comments!!

Back tomorrow with another, have to go finish last minute preps for tonights Stamp A Stack event. Really looking forward to it!

You Are Loved Cascading Card

Hello there - how are you??

On Tuesday night the room was full of love at our club as we made 2 Valentine cards with the new You Are Loved set from the Spring Mini.

I dont often buy craft magazines anymore but this week I purchased Papercraft Inspirations and saw a beautiful cascading card made by the lovely Sonia Sellers and I just had to CASE it!!! Sonia made hers with flowers but I knew it would work well with hearts and here it is!!!!!

An explosion of hearts!

The colours I have used are Crumb Cake, Real Red and Pool Party and I have used the various heart punches and the Embosslit heart to layer around the back of the large heart.

Touches of GLimmer Paper were used in places too and the odd rhinestone!!

The great thing about this card is that it does look impressive but it also folds flat for sending!!

My ladies were fab on Tuesday and coped really well with this one, far better than I did!!!!

I will be back tomorrow to show you the other card we made

This is a card I made to match the picture I showed you yesterday.

It uses the same theory but I have embossed the background with VIntage Wallpaper and then added the love sentiment in from You Are Loved stamp set. It uses of course the Everyday Enchantment papers which you can earn free with a £45 order.

Dancing weekend

Good morning. We have been away for the weekend to a dance competition in Kettering so I am a bit late posting this morning!!! We drove down after my scrapbook class on Saturday so a huge thank you to my lovely ladies who helped me clear up so quickly so we could get on our way!!!

We decided to go as we wanted to try and get Evan "qualified" for Blackpool. Last year at Blackpool he danced in the Non Qualifiers and it was a HUGE group of 69 children, all at different and higher levels than him!

This was the venue

Only a few of us went from our dance school and the female teacher Sue didnt go so I had to dance with Evan like the role of the teacher!!! It was quite nerve wracking but I was very happy and proud to do it!! This is us dancing Quickstep, I am the one in black!!

Evan then got the opportunity to dance couples with Jessica. They have never danced together so had only had an hour practise!! This is the Waltz, they didnt get a recall but they did OK!

For the Latin rounds Evan had to dance Jive and he was thrilled that the song we danced to was Olly Murs (Dance with Me Tonight), we love that tune!!!
Evan and Jess then danced the Cha Cha Cha and they got to the Semi Final which we were really pleased with!

Here is Evan getting 6th place for Quickstep - which means he QUALIFIED for Blackpool!

And here he is getting 5th place for Jive - he was over the moon with that one!!

Sorry for the lack of crafting posts!!

Back tomorrow with news of Sale A Bration! If you are on my mailing list my newsletter should hit your inbox overnight!!!

Dancing Scrapbooking

Good morning. This is a scheduled post as I am trying to make best use of my time these days and get a bit more organised.

This is the kit we worked with yesterday. Its a SImply Scrappin Kit called Tickets and Tags on page 101 of the Main Catalogue. These are really great kits if you are just starting out and want to dip your toes in the scrapbooking water so to speak!!

You do get a lot in a kit and my ladies were given half a kit each which I also used and I have LOADS left over

As you can see I chose to scrapbook my dancing photos from this years Blackpool Grand Finals.
I used the Letter It alphabet for the first time and also love using the Bigz letters for the word "finals". The colour combo here is Baja Breeze, Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake and Basic Grey and it lends itself to feminine and masculine designs.

As you will get from the title of the kit it comes with lots of adhesive tags and tickets which you can fold over your photos and use for journalling.

Hope you like todays pages

Back tomorrow with something from Sale a Bration I think!!
