Gift Voucher packaging

Hello there. How are you doing?? I am out and dressed ready to go out for a much needed day of Retail Therapy with a good friend!!! So I thought I would pop on with a little blog update before I go!

This year we gave quite a lot of vouchers for presents. The ones below were Amazon vouchers and you print them off!! They were a bit boring so I made a holder for them. All of them were slightly different.

The stamp sets used are Winter Post and Delightful Decorations and a colour combo of Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake.
The next one was a holder for one of my loyal customers and a good friend. Her Brother in Law contacted me to buy her a voucher - how cool is he!!!! Colour combo of Bashful Blue and Night of Navy and the stamp sets used are Serene Snowflakes and Contempo Christmas.

And finally a smaller holder for some theatre tickets for my Mum and Dad. We got them tickets to go and see Blood Brothers - my Mum has always wanted to see it. The colour combo is Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler and the stamp set is Delightful Decorations.

Hope you like my little gift voucher packages

General Christmas Cards

Hello there

This year I didnt have time (or if I am honest the inclination) to make as many cards as I normally do. I cant believe I am saying that with crafting and cardmaking being my business but sometimes things happen in your life and you need to take your foot off the pedal. I sent as many cards out as I cold manage, to my team, to my neighbours and close friends and of course to my family.

Here are the general cards I made, I made quite a few of these in one sitting.

Th square blanks are only 9.9cm so you get 3 from one sheet of A4 card. The stamp set is Polar Party which I think has been a popular one with lots of people this year and the sentiments are from Petite Pairs, again very very popular and very useful.

The trees were coloured in with my marker pens and I swiped the Whisper White inkpad around the edge of the card to create a snowy effect.

Back tomorrow hopefully

Team Christmas Pressies

Good morning. Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday. We had a quiet day but a lovely day. The boys loved their pressies and we had a really lovely time. Seeing little Lucas today which will be really nice!

I like to buy my team a little gift for Christmas and usually get them a notebook to make all their little Stampin Up scribbles for the rest of the year!! This year I bought loads of plain black notebooks and spent a long time decorating all of them. I had 28 in total to make for my first level downline so here is a small selection.

I have personalised them with their first initial and gone with a colour combo of Pool Party and Calypso Coral, with the First Edition papers.

I got the idea from a gorgeous notebook I got from my wonderful downline Sally Jo as a gift at Convention.
I forgot to take photos of all the cards I made too as my mind just hasnt been on the ball lately but I am getting back on track now.

Right thats me off, I might even go have a little craft!!

Santa please stop here!

Just wanted to pop on my blog today to wish all my blog readers, my customers and my Stampin Up friends and family a very Merry Christmas.

This is a little sign I made a few weeks ago with the new dies from the main catalogue.

I was going to keep it for Ross and Evan but someone bought it at the Christmas Fayre!!

Sorry for the short post, so much to do and I just want to chill after a horrendous couple of weeks.

I will be back with more craft projects over the holidays showing you a few sneak peeks of new products so please check back regularly.

Merry Christmas to you all

Teacher Gift Bags

Hello there

I decorated some gift bags to put my sons's teachers gifts inside. The bags were plain gift bags and I gave them the Stampin Up touch!!! I went for punch art to make the cards I had made them.

The large white circle tags were already on the bags so I just covered them with a sentiment saying To My Teacher and punched it out. I added this to both the bags. The reindeer was made from the owl punch and the antlers are the Sweet Scribbles sizzlit die.
Can you spot a new product available on 4th January???

Hope you like the bags, back tomorrow

Teacher Thank you cards

The teachers at school are fantastic but they have been even more amazing this past week and I always get them a little something for Christmas. Evan's teacher really appreciates all things handmade and she regularly asks me to come in and help in the class.

Here are the cards I made for them.

The paper is Wild Wasabi which is more of a modern green for Christmas which I really like.

The Santa is made from various punches and inked with Crumb cake around the edges. The sentiment is from the For my Family stamp set which I now use for all my personalised cards.

Hope you like the cards, we have already had a note back from Ev's teacher saying how much she loved her card and gifts.

Good morning, I am back!!

I want to say a big thank you for all the texts, emails and comments on my blog. It has been and still is a really tough time, but we are battling on and remembering the good times and the children seem to be coping OK.

Thank you to my loyal craft ladies last Tuesday night who rallied around and helped me get set up for our Christmas party event, you are superstars.

So back with a card which is one I made for a commission. I stuck to the penguin theme as I thought it worked well for a baby card.

The penguin is made from the owl punch and then stuck to the 1 3/4 circle and then punched out with ...........wait............... whats that around the circle - you will have to wait until 4th January to find out!

The colour combo is Bashful Blue, Real Red, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.

Hope you like my card and I promise I will try and be back tomorrow

Sorry for lack of posts

To my loyal blog readers, you may be wondering where I have been?

We have had some devastating news that has shocked our community in Pudsey and our school this week which I am sure you may have seen on the news.

My little boys friend, Ben and his family have all been killed. They were our neighbours of 9 years prior to moving in May and my son has grown up with Ben. We are all trying to come to terms with what has happened, which is going to take some time.

I am still of course working on my Stampin Up, but just a little bit more low key with it. I will be back with blog projects very shortly. I just wanted to explain my unusual absence

Take care

Sorry for the absence!

mHi there

Bet you have forgotten who I am! Sorry for the absence, I have been busy preparing for a stall at a Christmas Fayre tomorrow so it's been all hands on deck!

I have been making lots of gift bags and teacher thank you cards as there should be lots of children at the Fayre. I saw some really cute penguins on a fellow UK demos blog, Jo Gelnar, check out her punch art HERE

Anyway I made these cute little fellows to decorate the gift bags and teacher cards.

Here are the teacher cards. I have used up a lot of my old papers for these projects.

Hope you like them and hope to be back tomorrow

Happy Birthday Mum

Hello there!!

Yesterday was my Mother-in-Laws birthday and guess what stamp set I used for her card?? Yep - Everything Eleanor!!!!!

I used a different colour combo, So Saffron and Calypso Coral with some Very Vanilla

I also went for the First Edition papers again as I had them out on my desk. To be honest one of my desks is almost covered in scraps, its embarrassing! So I have been trying to use the scraps up first, hence this colour combo!
The papers are from the ever popular Designer Series paper stacks and I added some of my favourite Crochet Trim.

The Mum sentiment is from the very useful For My Family stamp set and I have stamped it onto the Curly Label punch which I then layered up.

Some of my favourite pearls for the finishing touch!! I have been advised that the card went down well so all is good!!

Becki's birthday!

Yesterday was another one of my lovely downline's birthdays!!!! We have a breather now for a few days!!! It was Becki's birthday and I actually didnt realise (because I dont ask the ladies how old they are) that it was her 40th!!! Sorry Becki!

Here is the card I made for her! It is using my new "go to" set! Whenever I get a bit stuck now I just pick up Everything Eleanor, and I soon come up with a design!

The colour combo on this one is Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry and Lucky Limeade, are you noticing I am using Pool Party and Lucky Limeade a lot!!!!! The papers are the First Edition papers, they are great for stamping straight onto and they are thinner than the normal ones so you get 24 sheets in a pack! Mine are still going strong even after making all those swaps and more!

I used the sentiment from Petite Pairs (another favourite) and then I cut the flowers out and layered them on. 3 pearls finished it off nicely!

And inside also got a bit of treatment too!!

Hope you like it and hope you had a fab day Becki!!

Another Birthday Jem!

Good morning Bloggers!!!!

On Friday it was my lovely downline Anthea's birthday (we do have a lot of birthday Jems in December and I will be back with another tomorrow!) so I sent her a card all the way up to Bonnie Scotland!!! Anthea had an "eventful" birthday taking her hubby to A&E, but he is OK!! Hope you get chance to celebrate today Anthea!

Here is the card I made for her. It was partly inspired by a lovely card I saw on my SU MUm Monicas blog and I totally cased the colour combo!

The colour combo is Pool Party, Island Indigo and Lucky Limeade - I cant tell you how much I LOVE this years In Colour offering, its going down a storm with my ladies!

I stamped the Simply Soft flowers and then ran the paper through my embossing folder for some added texture, you might just be able to see it on this photo!

I then added lots of little butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and a sentiment from Petite Pairs in the Four Frames, punched out with the Decorative Label punch! I bit of Pool Party ruffled ribbon finishes it off nicely!
And of course the inside got a bit of action too!!

Hope you liked it Anthea, back tomorrow with Becki's card!

Diane's birthday

On Thursday it was my lovely downline Diane's birthday! Hope you had a great day Diane and that Malc spolied you!!

Here is the card I made for her. I went for a DL size card and used a new set that I got at Convention, Creative Elements.

I used a colour combo of Lucky Limeade, Perfect Plum and Regal Rose. I have stamped the flourish and then crimped the bottom half of the cardstock and then run it through my crimper.

The butterfly was coloured in with the marker pens and then as you can see above I got happy with the Spritzer tool!!!!

I put a greeting on the inside with the Happiest Birthday Wishes Hostess set

Back tomorrow with another team birthday card!
