Cottage Wall Crazy

Another nice lie in this morning, thats what Bank Holidays are all about!!!!!
This was a card I made on Saturday afternoon. All I made all afternoon were cards using Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Orchid Opulence! And of course the Cottage Wall papers!!
The card blank is Orchid Opulence which I never used until I got these papers!!! The flower in the corner is stamped with the Vontage Vogue set and then I have used the branches from the bird punch.
The Friend wording as been stamped using the Schoolbook Serif alphabet (my most used set!!) and added some Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon to trim it up a bit!

Hope you lie this one, I was quite please with it!

True Friend Thank Yous

Good morning and Happy Sunday to you. Its a glorious day today and I am just waiting for my big boy Ross to come home. He has been at the caravan with my parents since Thursday evening and we have all really missed him (even his brother!!!)
Yesterday I spent a good few hours in the conservatory making cards and projects and I had a lovely time but made such a horrible mess!!!
I always need a stash of Thank You cards for customers and hostesses etc so I made up a batch using a set I havent used for AGES True Friend. I teamed it with my fave colour combo at the moment Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Summer Sun.

Very very simple cards but I think very effective, didnt take long to make 5 of them!

Right thats me off for the moment!! Got lots of housework to catch up on but tonight I have a dance lesson so thats something to look forward to!! I am having to learn the Tango and the Paso Doble very quickly as my teacher has entered me in a competition!!!!!

See you tomorrow

Anniversary card

Hello there
Sorry for the lack of posting yesterday, I managed to get all my May wedding orders finished and out which was a huge relief!!!!
Here is a card that I have just made for my sister and her husband whose anniversary it is on Monday. I wanted to use black and cream as these were the colours they had on their wedding day.
Its a tall DL size card and uses the Bridegroom papers (not that they are papers, more like a card in fact) and I have mounted them onto a Very Vanilla card blank.

The image is from the All for Friends new hostess set from the mini catalogue and the ribbon is Very Vanilla, trimmed the card with the eyelet border punch. The sentiment Mr & Mrs is from Occasional Greetings punched out with the new tiny tag punch and the other sentiment is from Cheers and Wishes

Hope you like it!

Its chucking it down here so very miserable this afternoon, perfect for crafting!!!!

Another Tuesday card

Good morning, Thursday already, cant believe it!!!!
Last night I did another workshop, this time at the lovely Paulas house with a group of ladies who have been to my workshops before, think this was their 4th one!! They are a lovely bunch and Paula did really well for sales and was a happy girl!!! Waving to all the girls from last night!!!!
This card is another one from Tuesday nights class. I CASED this card from Amanda (a fellow SU Demo) ages ago and it gets so many comments on my board so I used it again.
The colour combo is Pretty in Pink and Close to Cocoa and the Stamp set used is Mr & Mrs and the Forever Flowers wheel.

The side part detaches off to make a bookmark gift using the Cutting Tool to make a perforated line.
Ok thats all for now, will be back tomorrow

Tuesday Class!

Well last night I was so excited as it was the return of my Tuesday card class!!! We have had 3 weeks off due to Footloose so it was great to be back!!
This weeks class was "Wheely good cards"!!!! I wanted to use the wheels as I dont think I use them enough and wanted to show the ladies that they dont need to be scared of them - Jill!!!!!
Anyway there has been very little activity in the conservatoire in the last week and yesterday afternoon I pulled everything out and started cleaning it all!!!
At 3pm (just before school time) I decided to move my tall unit that was usually in the top right of the picture below as it was taking up too much room and things were fading on it!!!

So I now have much more room for my drinks table and also my new basket which I have my orders in that need collecting!!

So onto another card. This one was based around the one I made for Lynda a week or so ago but I used the It's Beautiful wheel using Melon Mambo ink on Melon Mambo card.

The sentiment (Vicky and Jill's favourite) is from Occasional Greetings set and the flowers are from Best Wishes and More, stamped in Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Summer Sun.

Added some Polka Dot Rich Razzleberry ribbon to finish it off!!

Was lovely to see the ladies again!!!!!!
Thank you to those of you who have sent me messages saying you missed my blogging!!!! Its nice to be missed!!!!

I am back!!!!

HELLLLOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
I am back!!!!
So sorry I neglected my blog last week. It was such a mad week that I decided to take a week off from blogging and making cards!!!! Felt nice to have a break but I have soooo missed it!!!
FOOTLOOSE - What can I say, it was spectacular, the audience reactions were fab, the show went so well and I got some amazing feedback for my role. It was very rewarding and very hard work. Dont think I can do another show this year, its just so demanding!!!! I have got some photos which I will upload later in the week!
So this week I am straight back into it!!! I had a worshop last night at the lovely Gemma's house - hello girls!! Fab bunch of girls I met last night!!!
Tonight is my Tuesday night class and we are making cards using the Stampin Up wheels. This is the first one we are making
Using the Neighbourhood wheel. The papers are from the Sweet Pea paper pack and the card base is Soft Suede. I have coloured the images in with the ink pads and my blender pens using the following colours, Soft Suede, Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. The sky has been coloured in with Bashful Blue ink and the aquabrush.

The sentiment is from the Bella's Bloom stamp set, punched out with the oval punches and I layered a loop of Soft Suede spotty grosgrain ribbon behind it.

Just when I was feeling a bit low with the show being over, look what arrived yesterday to cheer me up!!

Its my travel documents for Monaco!!!!!!!

I go 3 weeks tomorrow and I am so excited

Right I must dash as the boys are making lots of noise upstairs and I dont think it is related to them getting dressed
Back tomorrow - promise

So Sorry

This is a card that no one likes to make - a sympathy card.
On Tuesday I was very sad to learn that my beloved downline Kate lost her younger brother very suddenly at age 53. I made her a card straight away and sent it off so I hope she has got it now.
The papers are from Night and Day and the flower is from Live your Dream, coloured in with So Saffron and Old Olive marker pens

The sentiment is from Basic Phrases and layered onto the oval punches.
As I said, these are cards that are not nice to make, I think simple works best with these ones.

Happy Birthday Lynda

Happy weekend to you!!!!
Today is one of my lovely downlines birthday - the lovely Lynda!!!
Lynda is one of my local demos and has been with my team about 8 or 9 months. She is a very shy lady but we are bringing her out of her shell now!!!!!
Happy Birthday Lynda!
I decided to go bright and summery and wanted to use Simply Said as I think this is one of the first sets Lynda ever bought!! The colour combo is Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Summer Sun.
I randomnly stamped all over with the various flowers in the set to make it look like patterned paper. I actually stamped a whole sheet of A4 and have got some leftovers so I made a couple more cards which I will show another day.

The ribbon is of course Melon Mambo and the flowers are from the Best Wishes and More set, sentiment from Occasional Greetings.
Thats it for me for today
