Wildcats everywhere raise your arms up in the air!!!....

Well we are addicted, the first thing the boys wanted to do was make soem more this morning!!
Here is our effort at Troy from High School Musical, apologies if you are not into this but we love it in our hosue and are always singing the songs!!!

My 5 year old made most of Dracula himself once I had cut it out, he stuck the hair on and the shoes and the cape on the back!

Ross then wanted to make a leprechaun (I dont know why) but here he is!!

We made this one yesterday for Evans "love". Dress is a bit shiny

This one was probably the hardest so far, Ninja Turtle!

Evan made this monster himself!!!

Are you fed up of these yet???

Oh my gosh, we LOVE it!!!

Went to pick up my parcel which I could have had 2 whole days ago if our postlady was louder at knocking but hey whose bitter about it, its here now!!!

And what a treat it is, my Paper Dolls Dress Up cartridge, oh gosh, me and my boys are hooked, they were crafting for almost 3 hours with me this afternoon.

We are novices at making up the dolls but hey you have to start somewhere, here our some of our creations so far!!

One of our first attempts by me and my 5 year old!

We got a bit more adventurous and made this knight in shining armour (or as Evan says "knight in sining armour" as he cannot say SH) with his friendly dragon.
Then myself and my big boy (8) made this Spidey!!!! I think I have gained a few points from Ross by making this, he thinks I am a great crafter now!!!!

We then progressed onto making a Ninja Turtle (Raphael I believe) and dare I say it , at my suggestion we made Troy from High School Musical wearing his basketball kit!!! It was too dark to photograph these so you will have to wait until tomorrow!!

Oops I almost forgot, my little one then wanted to make one for "his love". Its a little girl at his school who he has known since being babies and they are going to get married - apparently. He made her a lovely princess complete with shiny dress and tiara and a castle to match. I'll pop these on tomorrow and go to bed conjouring up new ideas for more characters to make!!

Double trouble

Thanks for all your get well wishes, I finally feel like I am human again!!!
Yesterday we were all in and we didnt hear the postman, next news there is the card though the door, come and collect in 48 hours, cant believe between 4 of us we never heard the door!!! So I think it is my Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge all the way from the States, cant wait to pick it up tomorrow!!! I know my boys will love using it too!!
Then today my Cuttlebug arrives from The Glitter Pot. I opened it, so excited I was, was like Christmas morning again and then disaster, no handle!!! You are supposed to attach the handle yourself but there was no handle or any of the tools to attach, nor was there the embossing stencils you get included. The nice man at The GLitter Pot is sending a handle etc out to me first class today but I WANTED TO PLAY TONIGHT!!! Probably done me a favour, I can do more ironing now!!
Hope you all got some fab Crafty goodies and are having a good play with them!!

Proud crafting Mum!

8 days to go!!!

I broke up from work today so getting giddy now, haven't wrapped a thing mind or finished making my cards but nevermind!!!!! Decided I need to make some quick and easy Christmas cards as I havent got time to mess about this year!

Yesterday whilst I was making some wedding invitations my 8 year old decided he would like to make a card for a teacher who is leaving at his school. He said he didn't want to make her a leaving card he wanted to make her a thank you card!!! Anyway I stamped the sentiment on the bottom and left the rest to him and he has done a brilliant job, so professional!!!!!! Let me know what you think, I am sure he would love to read any comments!! Picture is a bit rubbish!

Well thats it for tonight, can't wait to start making some non-Christmas cards.

Another Sugar Nellie card, am loving these stamps, they are so easy to colour and cut out.

Friday feeling!!!

Well I taught my last Friday music class today until 11th January, feels good!!! Still got tomorrow & then 2 Mondays and then I have fully broken up for Christmas!!!
I had lots of children leave today as they are starting Nursery school after Christmas, some of them have been coming to my classes for 2 and a half years since they were 6 months old so it was very sad!!! I got some lovely pressies, but the memories and the good times we have had a much more treasured!!!!

Happy to say I have made some non-Christmas cards!!!!

Background paper from Making Memories, stamp by Great Impressions, brads by Queen & Co, lettering is See D's clear stamps. This card is from a little boy to his Dad who he calls Baba ( I think it is Turkish!)

Well my son has another 2 parties to go to so I have made 2 of these, both boys have ginger hair so I have tried to make them look like them!!! Stamped a 5 in the balloon!! Cuttlebugged the background card, Natty I've still got this folder of yours!!!!! and sentiment from CC!!! My fav's!!! Doodled round it!! Image is from the lovely Nikki from Nikkis cards and news!!! Thanks Nikki!!!

I have to confess I was very naughty last night, I spent £48 on the new Sugar Nellies!!!! OOps, Nikki I am blaming you for sending me the images and making me fall in love with them!!

Thats it for now, have a great weekend!!

Thinking outside the box!!!

Well I promised a card for you!!!! Its not gonna blow you away but I was really pleased with it!!.
I received some free bauble sentiments from Craftwork Cards to make a card for their Christmas competition using them.

I never "think outside the box" , just usually use things for the purpose they were created but when I saw the red baubles I had the idea to snip the tops off and use them as holly berries!!! Not rocket science I know but I was chuffed!!!!! Holly leaves are hand cut and edged with Stickles and background paper is from Craftwork Cards Plum Pudding range.

Expecting a couple more parcels today too!!!

Oh what a night........

........we had last night!!! My son (age 8) went to bed complaining of earache, dosed him up with some paracetamol but he woke up at about 10pm in complete agony, he cried solidly for over an hour!!! Still wasn't asleep at midnight. He got in to our bed with me (hubby was relegated to sofa and had to get up at 6 to fly to Edinburgh today!!) but he was in and out of different beds all night!!! Took him to see the doctor today who said his ear is very very red and looks very painful, given him some ear spray!!! Please send me good vibes that he will sleep tonight!!!!!

This card is made with some of the lovely things I got last Thursday on my outing for Stickles that turned into a £57 spending spree!!!! The stamp is by Stamps Happen, the little snowflakes are a tiny Stampendous stamp using Versa Colour (Bark) , the image is mounted onto Bazzill Bling. Its a small card but I like it and its quick and easy so think I am going to do these for my family
Its my sisters birthday on Thursday so my poorly boy found the energy to make this card for his Auntie Claire this afternoon. I stamped the monkey and he coloured it in and mounted the letters using 3D foam and he decided on the layout!!!! Hope she likes it

This is my card to my sister, good old Craftwork Cards handbag, so quick to make and look so effective!!!!!!!
Bye for now

More cards and chat!

Well I finally remembered to take some photos this afternoon, weather was a bit grim so they might be a bit dark but its the best I could do!!

This card was made for an order for someone who is a Man United fan, she wanted a big card with his name on and his age. Paper from a pad I got at Northern Papercrafts Extravaganza and I stamped all the little footballs and cut them out and added with 3D foam pads

This card is for the same guy but its from his nephew who I think may be about 3 years old so I wanted to make it a bit more child-like! Stamp is by Inkadinkado (me and Natty getting into these at moment!!) and paper fromsame pad as card above, sentiment as always is from Craftwork Cards!

Another order, this one is for a guy who I used to work with to give to his wife for their anniversary. She likes monkeys! So I hope she likes this card. Papers are the new Sandylion ones I got last week, I thought they would be good for Valentines cards!!! Stamp is Changito solo, heart cut out on my cricut and then used shadow effect to cut the outer red heart.
Hope you likey!!!

Hero arts dinosaur stamp, cuttlebugged background, thanks for the loan Nat!!!

One of my favourite stamps, Great Expressions, stickled the banana!!! More cuttlebug action!!

Got loads of cards to add tomorrow when I get some decent pictures, so watch this space!
